Why take a motorcade when you can fly across town? Seaplanes and helicopters in New York ✈️🌊🚁

While filming a US Coast Guard Cutter, I got to see two helicopters and a Seaplane landing, and taking off, near the United Nations HQ in New York City. Whether these people who flew in were attending the UN General Assembly, or not, I don't know, but it beats getting stuck in traffic in a motorcade!

They're regularly scheduled flights to the Hamptons on Blade, which advertises itself as the "Uber of the Air". East River/30th St -> Hamptons in 40 minutes.... nice if you've got a thousand bucks you don't need.
