- Longines now extend the Hydroconquest collection with a new GMT watch. The Hydroconquest GMT combines the toughness of a professional 300 meter water resistant divewatch and the very popular GMT function allowing you to track an additional time zone.
This is the full and detailed review of the new Hydroconquest GMT.

Seeing a fair amount of dislike in the comments, pretty much from current Longines owners. As an 'outsider' to the brand, I like it a lot...It finally looks good to me.
I have owned two previous versions of the Hydroconquest and plan on acquiring this new version too. Love what Longines has been putting out, in the last few years.
😊😅😮😢😢😂❤
Longines just became a GRAIL! The clasp was finally updated.
I never liked those giant Numerals on the Hydro conquest, so this is a lot better
Can’t stand the round and baton indices. Don’t understand how this makes it into production. See the redesign from ID guy you can’t un see it once you see his vid.
Excellent improvements all round. It will be interesting to see the price point of the 3 hander.
Yeah, I bought the green dial version on a bracelet and one day after receipt took it with me on a 14 day vacation to the Philippines. I love this watch. Very comfortable on the wrist.
nice ,but like few others ,this type of so called GMT make the same mistake that the very small 24 hr maker is unreadable from a distance to be useful to make it worse it's printed on a sloped surface in fine print
Not a fan of the case. It seems unfinished.
The point was made on another RUclips chanel regarding the circular markers at the 6 and 9. They look out of place and are too small. They would have looked better as larger rectangles. The triangle at the 12 also looks too small. Now ive noticed it this design just doesnt work for me.
It works for me. Looks perfect as it stands.
@@bigmacdaddy1234 each to their own 👌
held it in my hand at AD. Meh..
wow that brown dial is to die for
My words! Absolutely stunning! Also the new bracelet looks incredible gorgeous with the all brushed finish and the new improved clasp, amazing. I thought about the Rolex GMT Master 2, but with this thing coming for that fair price, i'm not sure anymore......
I want the regular HC movement without GMT function, old dial with numerals and this case and bracelet. And the bezel teeth. And in 39mm. And under 2k€. As it stands I'm leaning towards Rado Captain Cook or Oris Aquis.
So basically you want the last gen HC :) Why not get them ?
Anything resembles rolex cases from big brand is huge NO for me
A big NO you say a big big NO
Lol, rolex is best so anything that looks like it is better
Looks great the should make this model in titanium.
Looks like an oyster case to me.
Is the black dial heavier than the brown dial with the same number of links removed? I removed three links from my green dial watch and it weighs 171 grams. Solid but not too crazy heavy.
Hey mate watch is beautiful but wonder how many people go diving with a watch like this !
I just realized how much it cost and for that price, I'd rather get a Zulu. Just make this design in a divers, not GMT, and sell it for 1.7k, I think that'd be a way better idea...
Stunning watch in brown, I have a Zulu GMT but I will have to add this one as well. Thanks for the vid.
Amazing watch and thank you for a fantastic review with plenty of useful of information!
I dislike when a watch attempts to be two things. Chrono divers and GMT divers, for example. These watches are confused. That brown dial is beautiful, though.
I enjoy watches mixing functions and purposes.
The watch isn't confused - you are. Many watches have multiple functions.
That’s my absolute, favorite set up, GMT-Diver. It makes perfect sense as a do it all adventure watch.
woah, what a rebuttal. you sure showed me @@bigmacdaddy1234
Personally I don't need the GMT for now and wish they had a cheaper non-gmt version but I don't think there's anything wrong with fitting a gmt in a diver
Han mejorado, al quitar los números, pero las manecillas no me gustan nada . Y encima ahora son mucho más caros
They’re nice…but I’m really into red and orange at the moment. Nice review, thank you😃👍
Better than TAG AQUARACER 300?
Nice looking piece but I don't know why Longines can't centre the date wheels. Misaligned date wheels are common on the Zulu time also. It's a bummer.
Weird. My date wheel is centered.
How does the quality of this Longines compare to the Certina DS Action Diver?
This GMT is far superior in quality. But the Certina is a third of the price.
How is the accuracy of this watch?
Love the Longines but price is just too god damn high, essentially you get freaking powermatic 80 for 3K$.You can buy wise adamascus in full 904 steel with spectacular dial and better movement in the form of miyota 9039 for 600$.
You can also buy Grand Seiko or Citizen Chronomaster which are better in every single category than this Longines. For the same money you can buy Oris with caliber 400 gmt or the brand new series 8 batman gmt for 1700$.
Its not the same as powermatic 80 wich is basically a non servicable movement with lower beatrate, not the same shockabsorber / antimagnetic properties. Also these longines exclusive eta's are super precise and solid. GS bracelets are much worse, same with Oris bracelet. And 12.9mm thick travellers GMT and 300m WR is golden
@@Bredes1 No ,Longines became just mall brand and nothing more, there is no more exclusivity of owning a Longines, same Longines which has more history than Omega,Tudor and Rolex combine.Their hourglass logo is the oldest continuos logo in the world.Swatch really destroyed this brand and their future!!
The gmt hands vibrates when adjusting the date. Is that alright?
Its because you use the same function to set the date. They are connected so all is fine.
If this is where their going with the next iteration of the hydroconquest, provide the same sizes as before, drop the circles and replace them either with triangles or rectangles and you have a winner. Also get rid of the 24hour numerals on the inside of the dial. My guess they will sell the new hydroconquest for around $2399
Is the bezel bidirectional?
No its unidirectional as its a dive bezel.
@@TimeAndCrown ok. Not a true GMT watch.
@@davidcarrol110 Its essentially a divewatch with a GMT complication.
@@davidcarrol110by definition it is a true GMT watch, but also a true dive watch. The perfect combination. I hope more manufacturers take note as the 24 hour bezel on some GMT watches are much less useful for the vast majority of people as the dive/timer bezel is.
Excellent 4K filming !
Thank you 🙏
I thinkn It has very similar look of the Orient Mako XL. Much better when they reduce the side.
This watch looks great. It looks great because it looks just like a Rolex. It is essentially an expensive homage. I’m not a fan…
Yes and no. There are some elements that look like but it has its own things also.
@@harmonykardon2116
Few
It's a homage to the Longines Admiral. Once they release the 3 hander I'll be purchasing.
@@resjon7981
So it is a homage of an homage? Does that make it better?
