By far one of the most underrated elite players in recent memory. Not only was he a pro bowler, but Law was to the Pats defense what Brady was/still is to the Pat's offense.
I thought Law was the most underrated/over performing defensive back that never received enough recognition. Just a low key player who could shut down receivers often
Ty Law was my favorite player during his tour on the Pats. Amazing player. I was sad to see him get hurt in 2004 and I was sad to see him leave the Pats as well... I loved watching him pick Manning... Oh the joy that brought me on Sundays.

I always loved manning's reaction, it's like; I threw the ball and I just can't understand how it could have been picked. I threw the ball!

Asante isn't "garbage", Ellis Hobbs is god awful at coverage though.

Allen Daniel I didn't count him cuz he became a star well after Lawyer was gone, but them that would have been a secondary to fear.

Jose Lopez he was pretty good after Ty Law left from '05-07 he had 19 interceptions as a starter which he lead the league in during that span.

I was a fan even when He played for New England but when he joined the Chiefs that was a proud moment for me... This dude deserves to be in Canton and so many other great defensive players are disregarded or pushed to the side in favor of offensive players

One thing everyone always says is that the Dynasty Patriots didn't have any Hall of Famers other than Brady. Maybe on offense that's true. However on defense I disagree.
To me Ty Law is a Hall-of-Famer. They had to change the rules because they couldn't beat him.
I think there's a case to be made for Vince Wilfork too. Also Rodney Harrison, but I'll never win that argument.

Ty Law was actually a better player than Charles Woodson. Both were from Michigan, but Woodson got way more hype. Actually Woodson got beat deep a lot in his career, Ty Law was a more steady cover corner.
