@PUT EM DOWN Productions up here the top side is wet longer than the bottom. Fiberglass boats don't fair. That why I got aluminum. Aluminum diamond plate hmm
You do a great job and taking the time to do it right. I just bought a G3 Aluminum boat and I intend to replace the carpet with vinyl. Seems to be the sensible way to go these days. Thanks for posting the videos much appreciated
Picking up a pro 17 with a completely rotted deck. Owner had removed pieces of it so I don't have a template. Will 1 4 x 8 sheet of plywood work? I know it's not as wide towards the front. Any measurements would be awesome. I'm going to use carpet. Will a 6' wide x 10' long piece give me enough width. (Picking the boat up tomorrow, Thanks for any input.
@@PUTEMDOWNProductions Thank you for your reply. What did you seal the wood with before you added the vinyl? Can't afford vinyl so ordering carpet. Thanks. John P.
Curious how your vinyl is holding up? Would you use it again or go with carpet or some other material the next time you did your boat? Getting ready to do my tracker too. Thanks for the info
Those cup holders are going to look nice with the rest of it. You couldn't have chosen a better time to do your boat with everything shutdown lol. Can't wait to see more. Thanks
Hey just wanted to say thank you very much for posting your Bass Tracker video’s. I just started stripping down my 95’ Tracker. It is almost identical to the Tracker in your videos, that have helped me BIG TIME! I am just starting my project and wanted to know where you think the best place to buy marine carpet is and what would you buy?? Also any ideas on what glue to buy to join the carpet to the aluminum? You are the best & thanks again
May want to check defender marine otherwise im sure there are other good online sources, i dont have a good recommendation for glue as the stuff i used didnt dry for like 2 weeks...
Just seen your replies from the other day thank you so much for getting back ordered the fuse box will be subscribing to both of your pages thank you again
So glad to have found you re-doing this Boat I have the exact boat same motor everything just finished all my floors I am waiting for the rewire vid on how you are doing your fuse box because mine was completely disintegrated
Going to watch then recreate the same on mine. Vinyl in Washington state weather hmmm rain. Thoughts on painting the plywood floor before vinyl
Yes either use aluminum safe treated wood or completely seal the wood to protect it
