Hey Alex, spending your limited free time with family rather than fishing just shows me you’ve got your priorities right and much respect for that. Awesome job on that vinyl floor, you will like that so much more than carpet and you’ve done it so it’s gonna last a good long time. Looking forward to future fishing videos or boat improvements, it’s all good . Cheers Don
I love it man. I’m in construction too and know how demanding they are with needing people to work overtime. Glad to see you are able to make time for another great video.
Rather see a man drinking a beer in a video like this than some retro dude with a "man bun" sipping a choco-mango-caramel latte' with whipped cream! OK, I'm over it... Getting ready to do my old MirroCraft floor, nice work.
Fishing the odds is my new favorite channel. Good vedios. And you're enjoying some Busch lattes and your videos love it.. like the other cat said, take care of your family and be your self. Cheers.
I have 2 boats. Boat #1 is a Alumacraft 170 Trophy. Needs floor work done. Boat #2 is a 1448 semi v for restricted horsepower Lakes. I'm going to do a floor for comfort. Your vedio is perfect. Thank you. Can you elaborate on the vinyl flooring you use. I work for Home Depot so anything they sell that you recommend I will look into. Thanks man..
I Dont have the knowledge for all of the different vinyls, however i bought mine on amazon and i just made sure it was MARINE Vinyl and was one of the thicker vinyls because a lot of hooks and fish will be on the bottom of the boat. i waterproof the wood first and then vinyl it. it is okay to leave outside in the rain and it is okay to get wet. with that being said you will get more years out of it the dryer it stays! tight lines
@@FishingTheOdds If you're serious, I'd be willing to pay you - along with all the beer you can drink. The subfloor in my boat is very similar to yours. It's a 1957 Lone Star that belonged to my grandfather, 22' long. I've been working on restoring it. I don't have it here yet, but I plan to go and get it soon. There's no hurry. You could do it when and if you have time available. My phone number is 541-441-3349. Shoot me a text if interested so that I have your number, and I'll let you know as soon as the boat is here. Thanks!
I used a different brand of glue and it dried quicker, and harder that a wedding night dick. I had more lumps than a toddlers turd diaper. I will never go CHEAP again, until NEXT time. LOL...
Thanks man. I just did a seat and deck on my jon boat and that corner trick was a big help.
Great corner!!
Solid tutorial with great detail bro! Solid workmanship

Be yourself period as long you are taking care of you and your family in a healthy way. So If someone can't like you for how you are then they can go!
John Coon well said friend!
great video. you just made up my mind to redo my boat with vinyl. any brand that works best? also can you leave it outside without a cover?

What brand vinyl is this? And how has it held up?
It held up great, no problems . It was a .33 mil I found on Amazon
I made sure it was marine vinyl as well
You work for PCI? We might’ve been in some of the same jobs. I build elevators. Great videos. Hope to see you around.

I am going Vinyl. My carpet smells like fish and it is so hard to get rid of the stink.
Good deal haha
