One night I was at the old Texas Records and Tapes shop in Houston and they were playing this song. I knew it wasn't J Rivers. I asked who the guy was that was singing and was told it was Nick Lowe. I had never heard of him. It sounded so good to me that I bought the cd(this was a good while back). I wasn't disappointed. Great remake of a 60s classic.
I'm a big johnny rivers fan , I just found out about Nick from dwight yoakum I'm a musician listen to alot of genres but I've never heard of him what a great song writer !!! I think I saw him on pbs before but not positive .
Johnny himself would be proud...this man and song are beautiful...yes...sung from the heart...very nice ! Twick it ...imagine Johnny's girls background with this man...!!! Beautiful song...
