Hi Tori ! I also have a thread zapper. I bought a leather sewn bracelet & the threads they used were picking at my wrist. Zapped them & no problem anymore. It’s a great tool to have around. 👍👍

Good morning Tori, I loved your thread zapper video, would I be able to use that for normal sewing with polyester thread etc or is it designed for the heavy threads only ,

I absolutely loved my thread zapper for a week. Then it became temperamental so I know have to fiddle with it to get it to work. I am left wondering if I am using it wrong before I presume it’s broken. Maybe I need to clean the tip.

Cleaning the top would be the first step. And perhaps change our the battery

I’ve had two Thread Zappers and loved them at first but they really eat up the batteries. It seemed like I was always replacing them. Therefore, I don’t use it any more. Wish I could find one where the batteries last longer.

Does this prevent the browning if lighter threads?

If the tip is clean, yes. :)
