Terranigma is soo awesome I remember playing this back on the SNES It came in a very large package together with a manual, I didnt know its so unpopular in the US but play it its one of the best RPGs on the snes alongside Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana.
Terranigma is great, I played it through a few months ago (albeit, using my trusty SNES flashcart). I kind of hyped myself a little too much over it beforehand though. I was expecting a bit more. Still amazing though!
Very nice NTSC repro of Terranigma. I have complete NTSC SNES collection and am now going to look for repros and homebrews.Good pickups dude, keep it up.
Some really interesting looking Super Nintendo games for sure, Pete. Kendo Rage especially looked great. Very visually appealing and unique, and a fun side-scrolling game too, so I'll definitely have to keep my eyes peeled on eBay for this one. Thanks for providing gameplay of each game as well!
Pete you inspire me to collect new and old games, i have a collection but not as big as yours and i really enjoy watching your videos. Keep the good work!
oh btw i have cart only collection. I happened to find Ninja Gaiden Trilogy cib in the wild for $5 and sold only the box for $130 online lol. Love those grabs, helps advance the colleciton quick.
kevgor138 I wish i had good stores around me. Most stores with good retro stuff are overpriced and the owners sell based on ebay. There are flea markets and pawn shops but they only sell those famiclones that look like n64 controllers and crappy PS2 and newer bargain bin games.
Nice pickups Pete. You're really going to enjoy Soul Blazer; I really like it. That repo box does look really good too. Amazing how you find these games in boxes bro.
if your not into downloading roms, where do you think the 1's and 0's on that reproduction cart came from? they download a rom, and burn it onto an eprom, stick it in a cart, put it in a box, sell it to you.
In PAL regions there is a SNES adaptor that allows you to play North American SNES games on them. Is there not an evivalant adaptor for use on the NA SNES cosoles?
are you allowed to divulge where you got that terranigma north american reproduction? did you get it off ebay or was there a specific site by the manufacturer?
Loose Sega Master System carts should also fit in that cassette holder. I know I have a media holder that can handle audio tapes, and that's where I keep mine. They fit perfectly.
I'd really like to know where you buy your games from. I really want to find new quality boxed games like the ones in this video (I am aware of where to find repro carts however).
im just wondering,, how do you have a lot of time playing old games rather than new games?? i mean i know its nothing when playing just one old game and finish it within a day or two but a lot of old games i do think it takes a lot of time finishing them all and i know you have another job to be busy with right?? do you still have time playing new modern games??
I stopped collecting home consoles some time ago. I now collect arcade cabinets. I got Tekken, SFII, Shinobi, X-men vs SF, Primal Rage, & Space Invaders. My own arcade!
You've changed a lot over the years, Pete. As someone who's been watching your videos for a while now, i've gotta say that i'm kinda proud. Looks like you're a genuinely happy dude that loves his hobby. Pay no attention to guys that try to bring you down with comments like "Go get laid" and other stupid shit like that. If all those dudes want to do is get laid, then let 'em get aids while we sit back and enjoy our games.
@smro00 you can play with the actual controller on a computer, I mean i like playing games on consoles too, but if i don't have it or I can't find it, then I play on a PC, after all, games are created and programmed originally on a computer and then they copy the games onto CDs, DVDs, cartridges...
@RaulBillieJean by that logic: books are written on a computer, then those files are sent as manuscripts to then be decided to print or not, music is edited on a computer then copied to a CD, movies are edited on a computer, then copied to a Blu Ray or DVD...
hey pete i took a break from skyrim to go to the midnight launch tonight of assassins creed and of course the halo anniversary. are you interested in either of those games? nice wave race pad in the corner.
Hey Pete! Did you ever finish Dark Souls? I thought it started out strongly, but I did find it to be a bit more of a chore towards the end. A great game, but I was disappointed that it couldn't quite hold my interest... interested in your opinion!
Kendo Rage is based off an anime. The anime is called "Maru Maekendo!" which is the Japanese title of the game. They even have a second game that is a fighter rather than a platformer x Beat em up.
Gamestop usually now puts the stickers on the actual paper slip label, not the plastic, & the adhesive is so strong; so a lot of times you can't actually take them off without ripping or destroying the label. :(
My brother just got Terrenigma too! awesome game, super rare and an amazing find. And if you ever get the chance too, play Soul Blazer and Gaia, some of the best games on the system :D
Hey just want to say thanks for your videos. You inspired me to pick up a complete Zelda Oot I over paid a bit but that was my fault. Congrats on the pickups though I played soul blazer on SNES before its ok.
Glad i bought Terranigma when it came out. Still such an awesome game, as i did with Soulblazer, but that one for god knows why i sold?! Have you had time to play it yet?
i dont think repros of terranigma are legal...the cheaper (and still expensive) but really legit way to play the game is to get the pal copy and a pal-ntsc converter like PAR mk2 or mk3. i had recently just won an auction for the pal game CIB and PAR mk2, but I had to spend a total of $320, not cheap at all but definitely worth the gaming experience.
Hey Pete, you going to pick up Rayman Origins? I picked it up last night, and it's an amazing game. Beautiful Hand Drawn Art, and really fun but hard platforming.
Hey Pete, Blasto is an ok game, I used to play it alot, from what i remember, it was a pretty tough action platformer with some comedy mixed in and one liners from the character. I just remember getting stuck all the time, maybe i just sucked at it, I was young at the time. Anyway, I'd say give it a try
OMG SoulBlazer is sooooo good! It's the prequel to illusion of time (i think) and that game kicks ass. But SoulBlazer is by far one of the better games for SNES, so nice one there, you should absolutely play that game, and maybe make a review of it ;) hehe
I thought I had a couple cool games but I checked earlier today and I guess I don't actually. I've finally managed to scrape together $40, does anyone have recommendations for a special game to buy with it?
Those SNES games are very cool! I like how you added gameplay footage along with the commentary
Terranigma is soo awesome I remember playing this back on the SNES It came in a very large package together with a manual, I didnt know its so unpopular in the US but play it its one of the best RPGs on the snes alongside Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana.
that Terranigma bootleg is pretty amazing !
Terranigma is great, I played it through a few months ago (albeit, using my trusty SNES flashcart). I kind of hyped myself a little too much over it beforehand though. I was expecting a bit more. Still amazing though!
Excellent pickups! Im sure you will like Terranigma, it is a fantastic game for sure! All those games seemed to be in fantastic condition as well!
really amazing reproduction cart there, definitely cool to have the real deal
Idk why these old Pete videos keep showing up in my recommended feed but I’m loving it.
It's really cool that you put gameplay videos inside your videos! thanks for that pete!
Soulblazer is one of my favorite games on the SNES
Very nice NTSC repro of Terranigma. I have complete NTSC SNES collection and am now going to look for repros and homebrews.Good pickups dude, keep it up.

The Junes shirt is awesome man! Great vid as always Pete :)

Pete, where can i find those plastic protectors for SNES game boxes? I wonder if they are available for other formats (NES, Game Boy, etc)
where did you get the shirt. I love the persona/smt series
I have to know, where did you get that Terranigma Reproduction box?
wow, some amazing snes games there pete! do you already have illusion of gaia? its my favourite game ever! :D
Loose Sega Master System carts should also fit in that cassette holder. I know I have a media holder that can handle audio tapes, and that's where I keep mine. They fit perfectly.

From the background it looks like you buy more 360 games than ps3 games? Do you buy all multiplat versions on the 360?
love the junes shirt
Great video! Thanks
Where did you get the reproduction cart at? They did an excellent job with the box! If anyone knows, let me know.
You had the games in a plattic case, what is that and where do you get it, thanks?
Hey Pete are u gonna be picking up that portable super nintendo the su
Nice job on those, did the hard clear plastic SNES cases come with the order? Does anyone know where I can buy these things, no luck on ebay...
@smro00 you can play with the actual controller on a computer, I mean i like playing games on consoles too, but if i don't have it or I can't find it, then I play on a PC, after all, games are created and programmed originally on a computer and then they copy the games onto CDs, DVDs, cartridges...
Nice pick ups Pete. Nice video as well. Keep it up Mr. Dorr :)
where did you get terranigma from im interested in getting a copy of it
pete where do you buy all of your boxed games? ebay or a specific place?
I got the same repro of terranigma. Mine has a manual
do you have super turrican 2 for the snes in the box?
I saw Terranigma at my local game shop for 38 $, should i pick it up?
Okay, I seriously have to know--where did you get that awesome Junes t-shirt?
Where did you get that Junes shirt Pete!?
Has pete ever done a live stream of any game? i'm highly curious
Nice pickups! I hope to see a review of Terranigma in the near future. ;)
@RaulBillieJean by that logic: books are written on a computer, then those files are sent as manuscripts to then be decided to print or not, music is edited on a computer then copied to a CD, movies are edited on a computer, then copied to a Blu Ray or DVD...
@PeteDorr How are you enjoying Skyrim so far Pete? What race/class are you playing?
I have PAL Terranigma, only the cartridge though, not the box and manual. Still, proud to own it.
so did you get skyrim on the pc
So i live in Europe and bought Terranigma when i came out ... is is rare ? or valuable ?
How do you find time to play all these games?
What website did you use to find these?
Where you get reproduction snes games? I wanna know is it a site like nesreproductions website?
where did you get that shirt? i want one!
snes was my childhood!! love the video i subed :)
hey pete i took a break from skyrim to go to the midnight launch tonight of assassins creed and of course the halo anniversary. are you interested in either of those games? nice wave race pad in the corner.
Hey Pete where is your Sonic Generations Collectors Edition Unboxing and Review or did I missed something ?!
What do you have skyrim on?
Pete where did you get that shirt? its awesome!
Good to hear. I already bought it and I´m playing it at the moment.
Hey Pete! Did you ever finish Dark Souls? I thought it started out strongly, but I did find it to be a bit more of a chore towards the end. A great game, but I was disappointed that it couldn't quite hold my interest... interested in your opinion!
i'm liking the gameplay integration in the video

Congrats on getting Terranigma, I own the SFC version and the PAL version
is that t-shirt from persona 4?
Cool. Nice to see a new video, Pete.
You never fail to name games i never heard of. So many games so little time.
The 7-11 halo slurpee cups were awesome. Your lucky to have all of them.
My brother just got Terrenigma too! awesome game, super rare and an amazing find. And if you ever get the chance too, play Soul Blazer and Gaia, some of the best games on the system :D
You certainly unboxed that game well, but what man can unbox your heart?
Had a Blast with Blasto in the psx days, one of my fav games try it out pete.
I know the games are good and rare but why do you need manual?
Hey just want to say thanks for your videos. You inspired me to pick up a complete Zelda Oot I over paid a bit but that was my fault.
Congrats on the pickups though I played soul blazer on SNES before its ok.
cool video like always! always awesome to get stuff from other people.
An interesting thing about Blasto! is that Blasto is voiced by Phil Hartman in of his final roles. There are many eerie references to his murder.
Glad i bought Terranigma when it came out. Still such an awesome game, as i did with Soulblazer, but that one for god knows why i sold?! Have you had time to play it yet?
nice collection!!! i just started mine hope to have a collection like yours one day keep the videos coming.
Crazy chase has been a part of my childhood :3 I got really mad as a kid on that game haha but its pretty fun!
Thanks for the heads up on Kendoa
i dont think repros of terranigma are legal...the cheaper (and still expensive) but really legit way to play the game is to get the pal copy and a pal-ntsc converter like PAR mk2 or mk3. i had recently just won an auction for the pal game CIB and PAR mk2, but I had to spend a total of $320, not cheap at all but definitely worth the gaming experience.
Wow! The Sonic cassestte holder is sooo cute! Would kill for itttt!
I remember buying SoulBlazer about 14 years ago when my local Blockbuster was getting rid of SNES games, possibly the best decision I have made.
Nice Vid man keep up the good work
Hey Pete, you going to pick up Rayman Origins? I picked it up last night, and it's an amazing game. Beautiful Hand Drawn Art, and really fun but hard platforming.
Hey Pete what is is intellatv I keep seeing the box behind you in your vids

Very good pick ups. Terranigma sure is an amazing game, I am sure that you will enjoy it a lot.
i love SNES action rpgs, all of those games look awesome
Hey Pete, Blasto is an ok game, I used to play it alot, from what i remember, it was a pretty tough action platformer with some comedy mixed in and one liners from the character. I just remember getting stuck all the time, maybe i just sucked at it, I was young at the time. Anyway, I'd say give it a try
That Sonic cassette tape case is so effin' cool!
WHat level are you in Skyrim?
i like the adding of the game play!! great vid
You havent seen rate until you buy the game SOS (its a ship on it) in the box, i have all the boxes for all my games;)
@pinkroyals32 do you mean the intellevision ?
lol Nosferatu looks like Flashback, and Spike looks like the makers of Pocky and Rocky, very cool games :D
OMG SoulBlazer is sooooo good! It's the prequel to illusion of time (i think) and that game kicks ass. But SoulBlazer is by far one of the better games for SNES, so nice one there, you should absolutely play that game, and maybe make a review of it ;) hehe
I had 1 of those Sonic cases for School!! Flashback!!
I thought I had a couple cool games but I checked earlier today and I guess I don't actually. I've finally managed to scrape together $40, does anyone have recommendations for a special game to buy with it?
Spike was my favorite on snes
