I mean, I made it to diamond with a light character by playing with my teammates, and not super aggressive. Light really was never that bad if you just play flanks, dirty fights, third parties, and really just be a thorn in the side of the enemy team. I felt like as long as you take off a bit of damage on the enemies flank alongside your team you’ll be good. Nukes were honestly the worst part about heavies but since that’s been fixed, I felt that the light class can really play alongside the other teams, especially with all of the love that light has received the season, just makes playing light even better and more viable for ranked.

Embark's refusal to buff lights is what made me quit The Finals. It was super annoying seeing them nerf the glitch grenade by increasing it's fuse time and calling it a buff.

Btw guys the portals can go rather far. I found out that you can literally throw one down run up to 60 meters away and throw your next one. And create an extra long portal.

Don’t get me wrong the finals is “fun” but I think it’s main problem is it’s meaningless. What do I mean? There’s nothing to do!
Let’s look at cod for example because it highlights what I mean. Cod has a game loop just like this but what keep you playing? Coming back? Playing hour after hour? Earning things! Guns, weapon skins, character skins, attachments, prestige rank. ON TOP of the gameplay loop.
Games can be fun in themselves but what makes some thing REALLY FUN is when you get something for doing it and when there’s something to achieve and earn. Which the finals basically has none of
Games are not only mean to be FUN like the finals but they also need to have a sense of purpose or meaning. Which is not the finals

Its sad that full auto guns are the best tactic. When theres so much unique stuff in the game!
