This incident became intentional after you hit the first person, and instead of stopping, you continued through the entire parade, killing 6 total, and injuring MANY more, physically and psychologically. You cannot say it wasn’t intentional! You didn’t have to worry, the jury kept in mind that you intentionally hit over 65 people after you hit the first one. I believe the tears are for yourself, the fact that you got caught, the mountains of evidence against you, and the fact that you’re going away for the rest of your LIFE!

This fool keeps asking people if they heard a vehicle honk and why a person driving a vehicle honk their horn. As if Darrell thinks that that is justification for your actions. Honking your horn while intentionally driving your vehicle through the route of a Christmas parade and killing and hurting innocent people is not a signal to those people to move. That horn honk probably came from another vehicle trying to get the attention of the people to the presence of danger.

We don’t video stream our trials so it’s fascinating to watch, but yet so sad when you understand what devastation he cause to peoples lives. He totally self centred… cry’s on opening statements but in minutes back to the self seeking behaviour. I hadn’t heard anything about this before and wanted to better understand what happened and his motives…. I thought it was because I was from overseas I didn’t understand but seems I’m not the only one left in the dark. Thanks for replying to my question. 😊
@@Budgi3girl I’ve been suspicious that he’s going to claim someone was in the car, in the backseat, forcing him @ gunpoint or knifepoint, to keep driving. This would explain his obsession w:questioning if people could see in the back seat, windows tinted, etc. And he could say “all I could do was honk to warn people”. Of course, it’s a delusional defense. But this defendant isn’t exactly the most self aware individual…

Also if he honked his horn. It seems he did honk initially just before or as he entered the parade but after that no one testified to him doing that or warning anybody. The photo shows him later through parade staring straight forward and grasping the steering wheel
I can’t imagine what it was like to be hit or in the parade or even if you were a spectator it must affect you for ever the scenes from that day. Sad day. X

Thank you so much for helping convict yourself. (And, there is no reason whatsoever for you "honking" to make any difference. If some unknown person were hiding way back in your trunk area (because your passenger seats are not locked out by window tints) forcing you to drive through the parade, they would also force you to not honk and warn people. If you had a steering failure, which you didn't, then you could simply turn off the car and stop. If you were dealing with uncontrollable acceleration, you could do what many owners of pintos did way back in the day, or maybe it was gremlins, and engage your emergency brake floor the brake pedal and turn off the car. If that didn't work you could do as some valiant individuals did and deliberately steer your car into a building or some other obstacle that would stop it. The police officers at the barricades would have no problem accommodating you if you were making a reasonable effort to either stop the car or get off the parade route. They're very existence doesn't mean you can't go anywhere near that street. Quite the contrary. No, Darrell, the honking doesn't matter. The honking doesn't make anything make sense.
