If we got to calm people's emotions, then aren't I cured by not feeling any strong emotions for anyone? You girls should let men who spend their little bit of time (which is running out fast) on this earth on the far away issues have your kids and you close to them, and not far away from them. If you want them to get emotional over you, leave and get far away from them. These boys ain't got enough time to get every goal their little family ever had accomplished, but they have enough time in a day to take care of and save the whole big world. Their reach isn't long enough to make everything their family that's sitting beside them wants happen, but in their fantasy world their reach goes around the world like god's reach. Love for the far off stranger, hate for the familiar locals. The home life isn't exciting enough for those addicted to the rush of hearing the jesters of the entertainment industry called the world. The home life is too slow and non-violent. They want that blood and emotion running high, not the plain family life. If they'd stop bitching, I'd be left to myself and get bored. Most of your life's days will be plain and boring. Learn to love those, or most your days will be filled not with love but with anxiety, misery and hate. They hide their hate for you behind the idea that they are helping the suffering. Do you volunteer at the soup kitchen and elderly home to go out front of those places and try to shame, guilt-trip and mock the passersby for not all thinking that is the face of love and not mental and spiritual sickness upon you? You love the movie, the story. So if you want to love your relationship, your life, you got to see it as a story. The irish live under a hypnotic tryanny but are too busy concerned with gaza to even free their own selves. They're being invaded by a combined army of gazan types and irish politicians who hate the irish. The system's politicians hate their own country and hang out with and help foreign dictatorships set up shop anywhere they want on earth. Plenty of top israelis and other elites from around the world support gazans and others of the like over running europe and the west, while at the same time don't mind if the gazan sinks on a ship trying to get there, and also while not minding using his fellow israelis or countrymen as canon fodder.
They tell you to take your mind off yourself and put it on others who are suffering, and then tell you that you don't need anybody else, just yourself. They care about the big spectacular emotional heart-string pulling story in the news today type suffering, not about your daily struggle to exist and of them bashing you consistently that gets no news coverage. They got to put their mind on the far off because their mind is too close for comfort for them. They see in the silence when they are alone and the far off is cut off from them that it is grouchy and a bunch of bitching and moaning about people and the world going on in there in the dark caverns and crevices of their heart and soul.
It’s clear from your choice of headlines, that you care more about promoting anti-woke morals than the growing threat of authoritarianism in this country, imperialistic “saber rattling”, and a striking lack of statesmanship and simple human decency of the current administration. I am afraid that in your striving to “win” the culture war, you may forfeit your integrity, Mr. Mohler.
I am glad am not the only one who has noticed this. The American church is betraying Christ by worshipping man. The Evangelical Church has turned to Reichskirche.
One might say it's clear by your sweeping moral judgement based on one headline alone you are more concerned about making a statement than putting any thought in the matter.
I had listened to this podcast before commenting. I have been a follower of Dr. Mohler for a while and respected his well-reasoned opinions on the state of our nation. Unfortunately, in the past couple years there has been a steady, noticeable slide into toxic partisanship. He is quick to make moral Judgments about the left, and very sparse and strategic with his criticisms of anything on the right. Menendez seems to be a convenient distraction from having to address multiple glaring issues of the Trump administration. I will be happy to remove my comment if I find a clear, objective moral analysis of the recent actions and words of the Trump administration. Anything. Blanket j6 pardons. Threatening Greenland or Panama with military power. Birthright controversy. Firing the IGs. Musk’s inordinate illegal influence in the government. The blame game they are playing with the recent catastrophes. Tariff wars. Anything?
