    Awesome to see the breakdown that Mayer was holding his own. From the live game, I didn’t really notice.

    You earned a new sub, we’re really happy with Michael Mayer can’t wait till he had “his” game. As we all know in McDaniels offense it’s a new star every week

    Good vid. Brings something different that we easily may miss. This makes me believe that this is just an adjustment period with a new QB. Gaining trust. Even Jimmy wasnt trusting himself that the deep play would be there, so he played safe. We should be better as time goes

    Great breakdown , watched other channel where all they showed was the blocks Mayer missed led me to believe he could not block a lick lol

    Remember Jacobs missed all of training camp, and OTA's, he didnt get the reps, he's never played with Mayer, ever... you can't fault him for that. How does Zeigler NOT sign Jacobs to $12M in the off-season? It was McDaniels' and Zeigler's fault that Jacobs didn't follow Mayer through the hole.

    I really don't like how there's no such thing as specific jersey number ranges for different positions anymore.

    Game wasn't "down to the wire." It was close, yes. But you'll remember on 3rd & 7 with the clock draining, Garoppolo took off, got 8 yards and a first down, stayed inbounds, salted it away.
    Close, but not down to the wire, IMHO

    Hell of a breakdown wow, great job guys. I’m curious to know what y’all’s background is in Football/Analyzing Film, because you guys are really damn good at it. Also about Jacobs, as a Raider fan I’m hoping his miscues/not trusting his line is due to him missing all of camp. He looked rusty forsure.

    Josh Jacobs followed his blocks last year to lead the league in rushing for over 1600 yards
    You guys are trying to make it seam like Josh doesn’t know what he’s doing

    Nice breakdown fellas. Good to see examples of this part of his game being a strength as expected in the first game of the season. Great to see him wearing dudes out, I love it. This strength will help him get open early as a target in play action pass, and in the RZ. Jimmy G needs to use all of his targets, especially Sunday without Jakobi.

    It's pronounced Mayor. As in the Mayor of New York City, Chicago, LA, etc...

    What your missing is a combo release to next linebacker. From youth all the way to pro if you have displaced double target Y needs to take cutback lb. Nice breakdown . 2nd play is spot on. End wrong arms kick out forcing rb to spill outside and away from LOS. Meyer will develop into a great TE.

    It’s a good breakdown but JJ doesn’t follow blocks cause they don’t always make the blocks. Most of the game JJ is breaking tackles out of the backfield how can we blame jacobs. Our line makes JJ looks like Barry sanders.😂

      @ryansailer2637 😂😂 I didn't say I was out there. I'm just pointing out as a rookie he still has a long way to go. He missed many blocks. Blocking is his weakness until he learns is all I'm saying.

    yeah just like Gronk but without all the Catchs yards and TDs.
    we traded one of the best TE in the entire NFL for a 3rd round pick and got a blocking TE.

      @driller7714 Год назад

      You know he is only ever going to be a blocking tight end from watching the first and only game he’s ever played in the NFL? Absolutely amazing.

    • @driller7714
      @driller7714 Год назад +1

      As for Waller, he is definitely one of the most talented TEs in football but he is not the best and there are three reasons for that. 1. Waller needs to catch the ball with two hands, not one. 2. Waller needs to stay healthy and be available. 3. Waller can’t block.
      This rookie was given blocking assignments in this game. That was his job. It seems he did fairly well with his assignment. Waller couldn’t be counted on when it came to blocking assignments. Tight Ends gotta block. Those are the reasons he is no longer a Raider.

      @@tigerpaw5108 Really. Would you pay a player millions that loses you games because he wants to make fancy one handed catches (and drops the ball) spends half the season on the bench injured, and can’t perform all of the tasks required of the position when he does play? That IS the reason he isn’t a Raider.
