There was a Gentleman that we took our cars to if it was something that I couldn't do myself. You remind me me of a younger him ! Down to earth honest and you tell it like it is when it comes to explaining things to folks so they understand what is going on ! There isn't much of that left in this world today that is for sure. A Big Thank You For Sharing Your Knowledge with us all Sir ! ✌️❤️🙏
Feels good when you find and fix them but damn they can be a headache and like Mike said make you chase your tail. Currently chasing a 05 f350 with windows, radio, and instrument cluster intermittently working. Thinking it’s the cluster itself
Very interesting how something silly cab be the root of a problem but you know your stuff. Your honesty stands out. Once upon a day wipers, lights and so one went on just as they wanted. Dealer and another garage said needs this and that to be replaced and will cost a LOT!!! Took it to a auto elec and in the end was a loose ground wire; costing hardly anything...so Mike keep up the good work and your humor.
Currently on a 2016 patriot. Only has 54k on it. Was driven 2 months out of the year when the owners where in Florida from Sweden. Needed typical brake job and been doing good for a while. Tensioner got stiff and overworked the alternator so it just got those yesterday. Gave it a full battery of "abusive" tests and it passed them all. Get a call this morning the traction lights are on and the transmission range sensor seems to have gone. Currently sitting in the vehicle and noticing more random issues. All electrical, my specialty and what customers hate to hear. The seat belt light flickers when you touch the steering wheel or rock the vehicle, all grounds have been cleaned and pass tests. plugs are clean and tight on pins.... oh yea, this power module has non serviceable relays ...
@AutoTech Mike Electrical tail chasing is a mine field of frustration, thinking you’ve figured it out, then you find another fault which requires more tail chasing!!!! It’s a vicious cycle!!!!
These are a nightmare for BCU earths, relay box corrosion and all sorts 🤦🏻♂️ BCU earth found on the inner fender next to the drive pulleys un protected other than sound deadening that holds water and gets a nice splashing from the pulleys! 🤣
God I wish I could find a trustworthy shop like yours..
My best advice is talk and try to befriend someone at one of the local shops

I love your videos! I really enjoy watching a guy who really cares about fixing it right! Mike, I'm afraid you are 1 in a million!
You and kenny are the most honest
Hate those stupid weird electrical issues! So glad everything I do now is pretty much straight forward mechanical or hydraulic repairs.
Mike is the auto electric authority on YT. Hands down the boss🏁🏴☠️
While I won't get this particular car, the knowledge is helpful in the even I do run into it myself in another car, very likely another Chrysler.

It's the fuse box. There should be a TSB on it. You end up replacing the box
It would have been great if you would have shown what wires you were jumping in order to get it to start.
Brother I'm trying to find a genuine shop like yours to work at, any tips on what I should look out for?
That yellow Jumper cable you using to jump wires ,
Where can I get like that, what is exactly called , couldn’t find it anywhere.
Thanks Mike related problem but ended up being a corroded relay
A friend @ Kwik Star ⭐ has a no start ( clicking ) on a Jeep 2008 Patriot Could this be a corroded asd relay???
Jeeps....sinking on my book.
They’ve been junk for a while, especially the compass and patriot. You always see them on channels like this one with a whole host of problems.
Hey brother.. looking for a new scan tool. Money 💰.. what type of scantool are are you running ..
great repair as always
It's good question for me to ??? Scan tool ,tell you relay fuck , il want one .... I'll save so much time with all those miles of Mexico wire.......

Nice diag i Know the strugle , What is the tester u use at 0.54?thanks
The only thing I'm using for testers is a power probe and a digital test light
Also those were just wiring piercing tools to poke into the wire you can find a decent set on Amazon search wire piercing probes
Awesome diagnoses
You the man...
What was the most reliable jeep?
Lol trick question? No such thing...maybe early 2000s wrangler or cherokee with the 4.0
Boss!
Sometimes we all overlook the simplest things
I’m trying to find where you got that digital voltage meter? I need to run a similar diagnostic on my Jeep
LOL nice!
you need more videos
Relays are located in bad spot. That patriot is a money pit
