I really hope some of these Canadian guys decide to play with the raptors sometime. We've seen so many players wanting to go play for their home teams for so long so it would be really nice to finally see it happen for us too
Summer league - what we (hopefully) learned: 1. Skills are not as much in doubt with most players in the NBA and D-league, its the mind frame and consistency - and this team couldn't string together more than two good games. Can you play at high level every game, and we didn't see that in games 3 and 4 with Battle, Shead, Walter, Carlson, Carton, Mogbo. 2. The team stunk w/o Grady! ..stuff you can't put numbers on - Grady's leadership as the main guy on this team was high, inspiring and people followed. 3. Obagi is really good defensively, he keeps shooters in front of him, isn't bullied, makes it tough for his guy to get a decent shot off - BUT - his offense has disappeared since arriving to the NBA. Is he simply a college darling only? Nice piece to have on the bench to defend the wings and guards, and can drop down and bang with bigs, but again, just a bench piece for certain moments.
I don't see this team challenging the US because the frontcourt disparity is massive. Shai is wicked smooth but he can only do so much. Re-Raptors, Filipowski looks like he'd have been an absolute steal at 31st pick. If it was clear he'd simply not want to be in T.O. and become a problem then i understand. Otherwise the expectations for Mogbo better be really high. This team still needs a young 5. Hopefully Carlson becomes that guy but thats a big ask.
They say its a battle for the silver medal - but hold on! Serbia was tight in the game vs. USA last week, it was when they sat Jokic for the entire 4th quarter did the on-slaught begin. Don't count out Spain to pull an upset. Canada, needs one more player to bet the USA and that is a banging center.
@@ScottieDPOYY De Colo is 37, Fournier and are Gobert 32. That's 60% of their starting lineup. Wemby and Bilal are the only young guys on the team. The players in their prime on the roster, Yubusele, Cordinier, etc aren't world-beaters. Canada trounced France by 30 at the world's and sure France didn't have Wemby or Bilal but Canada didn't have many of their best players either. France should be solid in a few years if half of the recent picks turn out to be any good.
They said this a few years ago when they ended up losing to Spain. The US should win it all based on talent but super teams fail all the time because of ego and too many cooks in the kitchen. Also don’t forget Embiid’s chronic loser history.

I thought we would be undersized but Powell and Birch played really well. D was good overall
Ben is running out of title’s for these videos 😂 The video before this was just titled “Bruh” 😂

They played an impressive game especially kelly
South Sudan sent an even bigger message.

Imagine people complaining about Shai free throw hunting when we live in the era of Lebron.
It wasn't that nasty of a win. It was a decent win, come on now Ben.
RYKER must be smiling 😂
France isn't stacked. Wemby and Gobert are solid down low but they're aging and not very athletic.
They got one old guy? And he only 35.. not 40. Just an odd way to look at their team. As far as international play goes they are indeed stacked

I like team Canada but y’all not fucking with USA bro they winning gold

Silver medal at best. Nobody is getting past the silly superteam USA.

I hate to agree with you but true. This is the best team since the Dream Team. Next Olympics will be a bit more interesting though.
They beat South Sudan by one point. They are beatable, despite being a superteam.
Exactly!
@@mikeyjamesbro this USA team has everything
