That was one of the best constructed teams top to bottom of the modern era. Absolutely ridiculous bench, probably the deepest bench of all time when you factor in that OG was hurt for the ENTIRE PLAYOFFS, it just makes it more impressive. The other thing is that Toronto went 6-2 against Golden State that year (Regular season and Finals) which is a record I don’t believe any team ever had against the Warriors in their golden 4 championships era. If Gasol, Lowry, Kawhi and Siakam all go on to make the Hall of Fame, the appreciation Toronto will get for this chip will go up ten fold. KD getting hurt shouldn’t be held against the Raptors, just look at the path they had to go through to even get the Finals. The Sixers and Bucks were absolutely LOADED and in their prime, this wasn’t a pathetic East in 2019. This title was earned and was the product of careful roster construction over the decade of the 2010’s, before pulling the trigger to get Kawhi and put them over the top.

@washedupwarvet2027 don't think so to be honest. That Raps team was to deep and had really good D. The Celtics had arguably the easiest path to a championship in the last 10 years. I'm not taking away that there a good team buy who did they beat 🤔. Raps beat 3 teams (76ers , Bucks , Warriors ) who could have taken the championship that season.
      76ers had Buttler Embid Simmons
Bucks had Giannias , Middleton and a great team of shooters.
Warriors were the Warriors and every team had a MVP

Tired of this whole narrative just cuz I'm Canadian I have to be a fan of the Toronto Raptors cuz they're a Canadian team?? Imma cheer for Canada in the Olympics not a team of a league

He wanted to go back home. Imagine if every athlete in every sport only wanted to play in their home town. Ridiculous reason. The guy wants to leave, fine. I want to go home, feeble excuse
