    Love it that you've started to step on the rug before flipping it. No idea why it's so satisfying 😌 I think my favourite moment during every rug wash is the first use of the rotary, when half the rug is still super dirty and dark and the other half shows how beautiful it's underneath all that dirt. And from then on the beauty just gets brighter and more vibrant ❤️

    hello from germany.
    I recently found your channel and its so satifying and nice to watch but i have a question.
    when you pressure wash the back side of the rug, wouldn't it be better to lift it up with some kind of grid or light curtain to blast the dirt out und not trapping it on the other side?
    and is it just me or do the acidic rinse make the colours rally pop?
    sorry for maybe bad english and have a nice day.

    Hi James! Huge fan. So glad we found you! My toddler and I like to cuddle up and fall asleep watching these videos. Lol! Sssooo..... here's my question.
    How do the machines work? We are a geeky family and would like to know more about the actual mechanics of the tools you use. In some of the videos, you explain the chemicals and order of operations but for example.... Is Dirt Reynolds hooked up to water also? Is his rotary brush rubber or plastic? How often do you have to replace the brushes? Are the machines almost self cleaning??? Or do u need to clean them after each job a specific way? I might be raising engineers and every little bit helps! Thank you much. Keep up the good work!!

    So how long do you recommend I bury a carpet in the garden before digging it up and make a video of it being "cleaned". I only ask because in every video of this type, on the first rinse it's just loose soil being washed out. I would have thought a genuinely dirty carpet would have the dirt and grime "trodden" in, making it very difficult initially to remove . If somebody genuinely let's their carpets get so dirty why would they bother paying to have them cleaned ?.

  • @frankrodgers4656
    @frankrodgers4656 2 года назад

    I love watching these videos. I'm not sure why, but I do lol. I just have a question or it could be a suggestion. How come the platform is not raised on one end giving it a slop so the wast water runs off into the gutters and down the drain? I think it would be even more fun to watch if the carpet were on a raised platform that's grated so the water and dirt falls through and under the carpet?

    • @jilldavies7094
      @jilldavies7094 2 года назад

      It *is* on a slight slope. You can see it when he applies the shampoo, and it runs off the end of the rug. I think if the work area was a grating, you would not be able to apply the necessary pressure to sweep the dirty water out smoothly.

    The center panel being less solid than the white border drove me nuts on this one. Not your fault at all, but I kept thinking the white was going to scrape right off. Still love the video.

    Question. Why don’t you just keep rinsing with hose under the rug until the water runs completely clear before extracting and having to repeat the process again? Wouldn’t it be the same if you just kept going the first round?

      you can rinse till clear and still the vac pulls out more

      @@MountainRugCleaning so what makes the second rinse the rinse the vacuum doesn’t pull out more? Versus if you spent double the amount of time rinsing the first time? I love that you rinse again. I could watch you rinse all day, just trying to understand. ☺️

      @@RugWashingASMR like i said. You can rinse all day till clear and the vacuum will pull more out. Once its pulled out though thats most of it gone. The second one is just a visual to say its clean. It doesnt actually really need it.

    This channel is like a Bob Ross painting. You have no idea how he's going to get it done. You call him a madman. But suddenly in 1 step it all comes together

    Question: why don't you clean the rugs on either a wire rack to set on the floor, or on a floor that is slanted so it can collect water easier? I'm sure theres an obvious answer that I just don't realize

    One of my biggest thoughts is if these are the norm or the exception to what normally rolls through to get cleaned. I've never seen a rug be anywhere near this dirty in my life.

    The R2 Clean 2 and the first squeegee are my favorite parts! :) And what type of drain is that that can take all that water and dirt?

    Question 🙋🏾‍♀️: Why don’t you clean the back of the rug twice? Is it not necessary?
