Thanks for the review Ryan. I watched the trailer to find out how it feels compared to your comments and I think I will skip the movie. I'm not a fan of mafia films. Whether it's high budget like Godfather movies or low budget, I steer away.
There just really isn’t much even for a mafia movie sadly. Not missing much so no worries.
Doesn't sound like my kind of film. It's tough for indie films to do much though. Especially when they take on a topic like that. It almost requires a bigger budget. Good review!

I watched it for thirty minutes and there wasn't an inciding incident to start a plot. I gave up and turned it off.

Yeah I think though with the subject matter here there’s not much mafia aspect. I think I was expecting more of that.

I’ve actually never seen a Mafia movie (not even the Godfather) so I probably won’t see this. It just never has interested me though it’s nice to hear it does have some character development.
Yeah I’ve never seen the Godfather films either. I would say I have a small sample size on the genre myself.
@@RavensOsFan89 Glad to know I’m not alone in that. I know everyone says how amazing The Godfather is but it’s just not anything I’ve ever been interested to see despite that.
@@kristinaland I feel that’s a movie you had to see at the time to enjoy it. Nowadays we’re in a faster pace society and I just don’t know if it would be for me. I don’t mind some slow movies but sometimes older films tend to be too long.
@@RavensOsFan89 That’s honestly how I felt when I finally saw Halloween which I know is the standard and because of it all the tropes exist. But before I’ve seen so many horror movies I just wasn’t wowed by it (even though I know it set the standard).
This sounds like a movie with an interesting premise, but not an interesting enough premise I wouldnt just prefer to see the normal Mafia movie format
