Shadowhunters Official - Driver was a Marine. He got injured and discharged rather than shipped to the front/war theater. Given his military training, I doubt he would be inclined to half-ass anything, even if he is modest in claiming the stunt ppl compel him to do so.

I really don't care about the general criticism about the sequels, I appreciate the hard work and dedication that all of them put into this movies, you can tell that all of them really love Star Wars and that as a fan makes me happy

@@renascitur7051 Isn't lightsaber combat loosely based on some Asian martial arts with swords? I know that the OT choreography was based on knights with broadswords, but what were the prequel fighting styles based on? Shii-Cho, Makashi, Soresu, Ataru, Shien/Djem So, Niman, Juyo/Vaapad, I also saw NONE of those forms in the sequel trilogy whatsoever. Not even in TROS.

Teresa Moscatelli I completely understand. I’m kind of the same. Have you tried the Nike Training Club App? It’s a nice app with a lot of workouts in it that are easy to follow. I just signed myself up for a training “program”. I’ve used the app many times before and it’s the most successful I’ve been at getting back into shape. And I did. I’m just hoping to be more consistent now that I’ve finished college.

Khai they also have to train for endurance, and combat is usually the way to go all around, filming is more physical than one would expect. I've been in several productions and even the slowest movies are physically exhausting

Is anyone else happy that they highlighted the main supporting characters, like Finn and Rose before Adam Driver? It's like everyone knows Ridley and Driver are the mega stars and Adam's fight scenes are like Matrix scenes on steroids. But giving the supporting cast a turn to shine in the spotlight before ending this vid on Driver's training face is just 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽💰

Glad to see they're bringing back some of the more "prequel-style" fighting. Best thing they can do is combine the raw emotion of the OT and ROTS lightsaber duels with the fast-paced action of the Duel of the Fates.
nahor88 but however awesome the prequel fights are, they are quite overdone and unrealistic. I like Rogue Ones portrayal the best-more powerful than OT, but more realistic than PT

Interesting to see Daisy practising with a Maori Taiaha early in the piece, including highly stylised and traditional fighting movements to weild a Taiaha in battle. Respect to the Maori people.

That´s why I admire actors.
Their characteristic to see a movement, focus on it and nearly perfectly repeat it.
I´d need weeks (if any) to internalize such movement sequences.
I´m not a big fan of the sequels (as far as Ep. VII and IX are involved) but I deeply respect the hard work they were putting into it.

I look at how cool Phasma and characters like that look, and can’t help but wonder if armies will ever get to use the full body armor style uniforms that we see in movies like Star Wars...
Kylo ren is a good villain, I’d like it if he had his helmet on more cus it looks more menacing but overall just the way he fighting is intimidating, he always looks calm

This trilogy could have been awesome
TLJ is the Star Wars movie with the most matural tone so far. The Finn/Rose subplot could be better and I don't dig some jokes but hatre bandwagon from these fanboys is ridiculous. Adam and Mark did such great job. Hope Kylo Ren won't die in IX.
The hatred is overboard. I dealt with some complaining about the "SJWs" and "feminism" and it seems very illogical. Suggesting the female characters are perfect and don't need the male characters is weird, since Leia was rather take charge in iV and it seems Lucas sketched out a lot of what happened anyway. Hard to see Leia as perfect lamenting over her son and Han, among other issues. And seeing Rose as "lecturing" Finn was bizarre given she confesses her feelings for him. How is being vulnerable a part of lecturing? Apparently having the temerity to question a man over anything is too much for some.
Luhan Dang I agree, I think it was actually one of Mark Hamills best performances, no matter what someone thinks of Luke's character, mark was brilliant
Luhan Dang - I thought of one other thing. In addition to complaining about women, the fanboys are extra mad because the plot gave at least some development and/or credence to the Reylo theory. I think the fanboys somehow forget the Han/Leia thing (or Luke/Leia/Han thing) existed and perhaps only tolerated the Padme/Anakin thing because Luke/Leia had to come from somewhere.
In any case, it's stupid for some to SIMULTANEOUSLY complain about Reylo elements and women being perfect or don't-need-men or feminists (whatever) because those are contradictory things. The more feminist side of Daisy Ridley would rather Rey have an arc like Luke and lack much of a romantic plot. So to complain about both is talking out of both sides of one's mouth.

Instead of giving Rey development and a backstory, Rian discredited her character and just went for the Reylo ship out of nowhere, then didn't know wtf to do with Finn so he created Rose and sent them on a subplot so bad it almost ruins the film. *That's* a valid complaint about TLJ.

@@harisdaglar3542 If you're into dynamic, fast-paced choregraphy where the protagonists performs godly unrealistic moves to make an awesome show, then yes, the prequel and that fight are the best possible.
If you're into actual fencing and sword work, then all you see are two people kindly dancing at each other, that only aim for the blade of their opponent and absolutely never tries to have a successfull attack, while doing unnecessary abusive spins, flips and overkill saber tricks, just for the sake of make it look cool.
