  • Hey everyone welcome back! Today we take a look at my brand new Fzero gas bike frame and I show you all the components that come standard on the bike. In short I highly recommend this product and bikeberry.com is a great website to buy from. I can’t wait to motorized this thing!

    Hello 👋 from Windsor Ontario I have a felt faker. Same thing as what you have just a different name with an Avenger 85 motor on it. Thanks for the video happy riding

    Are you putting a breather on the gas cap? I noticed a few people have done that... I didn't know if it was necessary.. but I just ordered this bike last night so trying to download as much info as possible into my brain.

      @keeganhache6667  Год назад +1

      I just took the stock seal out of the tank and put it on the inside edge of the gas cap. Than I drilled a very small hole for the tank to vent properly. Now it doesn’t leak a drop.

    Did the back wheel come installed?

  • @jasonsierchio1167

    Any advice on how to keep the seat from dropping in the back? The brackets won't keep it up, as soon as I sit on it, it slides down the back of the bike... and I'm not even a fat ass!! lol

    • @keeganhache6667
      @keeganhache6667  Год назад +1

      Make sure your mounting brackets are on super tight and that they sit flush on the frame. My seat worked great but I found it not good for longer rides so I ended up getting a standard bike seat. But those back clamps really need to be snug I had the same thing happen on mine did some bending on the brackets to get them perfect

    did the bike come with the huge hole in the frame near the kick stand?

    • @keeganhache6667
      @keeganhache6667  Год назад +1

      It’s so you can access the kickstand bolt. I kinda wish they just put a longer bolt in to cover that hole. Most likely I will replace the stock hardware with my own.

    Palm face* is that kickstand bolted through the frame? Not a good way it could weaken the integrity of frame. Did you ever figure out if aluminum quality is good or decent

    • @keeganhache6667
      @keeganhache6667  Год назад +1

      Dude the frame is used in the SoCal motorized bike racing association. That should give you a idea of how strong it is. Also that kick stand hole doesn’t matter. I’ve seen Minnrelli cylinder bikes with this frame and they held up great. Don’t just assume because it’s from bikeberry that the quality is bad

    Bro. Again great stuff. I have a phatmoto rover and my frame looks good. Like yours. Mine is 4 strokes of coarse and took a full day just to make it usable. Question is what size is the down tube on the bike cause I don’t like adapters. Sucks having to do so much work on a pricey bike. Thanks K.

    • @keeganhache6667
      @keeganhache6667  Год назад +1

      I believe the down tube is 32mm on the felt faker style frames. I hear you with the doing work on pricy bikes but once you get them dialled they will be solid. Thanks for watching brother

    The Felt Faker motor ready frame kit sold by Walmart was just advertised for $599, 12 guage spokes, 3.4L tank, rear kick stand, l don't know, it looks heavy duty with better features plus the seat is located in the proper place.

    • @keeganhache6667
      @keeganhache6667  Год назад +1

      Yup this is super heavy duty and it’s also the new style of frame. They had a gasbike frame before this one and some of them were very flimsy and head thinner rear dropouts and mag rims. They definitely made good choices when choosing what parts were going to be used.

Anything under a yd100 will be ok however I wouldn’t recommend doing over 35mph on that frame, they have A lot of flex for being aluminum.

    Never understood how they could sell a frame and say it's made specifically for motorized bike and yet you have to use adapters to fit the motor on it

    • @keeganhache6667
      @keeganhache6667  Год назад

      I didn’t end up using any cnc adapter. Just put a couple washers on the rear motor mount. However these gas bike frames are not any different than putting a motor on a regular bike. Besides the sprocket and gas tank you will still have to install all the other parts and possibly have small issues. The reason us builders buy this frame is so it can handle a powerful engine setup without destroying itself.
