I spent 14 days in Greece, with Road Scholar, and it was an amazing journey.
I stayed in 5 different hotels, rode 6 different ferries, visited 4 different Greek islands, visited over 14 different towns, walked through many museums and archeological sites, and even slept overnight on a ferryboat.
So, to capture it all, I created this 4-part video series to share all the high-level details with you in case you want to choose the same Road Scholar trip or do a similar 14-day island hopping Cycladic tour with another company.
This series will be exciting. I promise.
In this video, I’m going to cover days 1- 3, which covers a bit about Road Scholar, my motivations to use Road Scholar, my travel day, and my first two days under Road Scholar’s care while in Athens, Greece.
In video 2, I’ll cover days 4-7, which will cover our time in Mykonos, Mykonos Town, Delos, Paros, Parikia, Naoussa, Lefkes, and our trip to a Marble Quarry.
In video 3, I’ll cover days 8-11, which will cover our time in Santorini and Oia, our formal Greek dinner and dancing, our exploration of Akrotiri, Pyros, and Kamari, our infamous ferry ride to Heraklion, and our time in Knossos.
And last, in video 4, I’ll cover days 12-14, which will cover our time in Gortyna, Phaistos, Vori, Matala, Rethymon, Chania and then finally back to Athens on an overnight ferry.
