Someone with a voice like her should release an album at least every year. The music industry especially rock and metal is saturated with mediocre artists and growlers, it's great to have back someone who can actually sing.

Despite the fact she seems to hate them, there is a treasure trove of pre-Fallen tracks I absolutely adore. Some of the stuff is less-than-studio quality, but some of it is amazing, and perhaps should have been turned into regular releases.
The demo version of Farther Away is one of my faves, as well as Anything For You. Hearing proto-versions of Fallen tracks was cool, too, just to sort of speculate on their evolution from concept to final tracks.

bands like to change up there music style and yea ik skillet changed a small amount of there music sound and also of mice & men did too with there new latest album its completely different from there previous albums.

They release 2 albums a decade so yeah it's about due for another after that we'll have to wait another 100 years for the next.
I love their music and her voice, its really sad that they are so lazy. But we have Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, Lacuna Coil.
That's so true. My friend and I have that as an inside joke, like every time something (we're interested in) gets postponed for another year or two before release or like something that gets a teaser and no release date at first, we always look at each other and go "I bet it'll still come out before Evaescence's new album". It's annoying, but worth the wait.

at least they're worth it. There is NOT one single song in their albums that I hate. Evanescence perform about life and death. Amy Lee just deliver it in the most haunting yet beautiful way to the fans. At least their songs mean something.
Metallica delivers masterpieces every 8 years and they are 50 years+ with families. And they only started that after like 6 studio albums that were all platinum sellers... They made albums full of hits, not "3 hits + fillers" like Amy Lee.
Amy lee is young, pretty soon her voice will crack, she'll look terrible, and her career will be wasted.
