Amy Lee Discusses Her Single, "Speak To Me"

- Musician Amy Lee, from the band "Evanescence," has a brand new single titled “Speak To Me.” The song is featured in the upcoming film "Voice from the Stone," in which Emilia Clarke and Marton Csokas star in. She worked closely with the film’s director, Eric Howell, and composer Michael Wandmacher when she developed the song and music video which are a great parallel and backstory to the film. Tune in when Amy Lee discusses the reasons that inspired her to work on this project, her vision for the song and her experience working with the filmmakers. It can be both... I liked the sooo much as the band... it was good for her to be able to explore that on her own that’s how she was able to add more stuff like classical into it and other technology. Into the band which I really liked cause it shows that she is growing and taking it to the next level... the music video speak to me ... I’m HOOKED!

Evanescence Crew I cannot believe how much Amy Lee looks like my niece Michelle. Same dimples, hair, eye color,and chin. You could be twins. Michelle has stage four breast cancer and we don't know how much time she has left. My only nephew, her brother, Josh also has stage four Cancer. They are my brothers only children. My favorite song is my immortal. So it's what I listen to when I am thinking about them.
I love how she interacts with her fans. I also love that she is 100% involved with her music. That is about unheard-of now-a-days.
amy had her baby around the same time as me , I remember seeing on twitter that she'd had her baby while I was close to my due date, so this song, I really feel it.

Like tons & tons of people, I fell in love with Amy when I first heard her sound. That hasn't changed, and to watch this interview you see *quite* the metamorphosis in who she is now, and where she is in her life...it's amazing! Perhaps no longer the "queen of dark angst", she seems to have added so much more, to be about so much more these days. I can't wait to hear what she has in store, and the new Evanescence album!!!! Amy Lee is a genius and so pretty ! I became addicted to Evanescence the very first time I listened to the band. Bought all the cds, DVDs, interviews, etc. I started to play guitar because Iron maiden, when I was a teenager, long time ago..... Today, I think the best blend is Progressive Metal, sth like Dream Theater or Symphony X. But with Evanescence, it was love at the first time. Thanks Amy Lee! God bless you. : )

it's almost like a prologue of my immortal because speak to me is about a women who died and she wants her love one to speak to her and in my immortal someone's being haunted by a loved one so I feel like they could be connected. Like Ben in the video is the son all grown up and in speak to me it's the son when it all first started when he was a child and first lost his mother.

I also feel so privileged to be a member of a Facebook group within which I met a fellow fan who is an Evanescence ... um, celebrity? (I received some fan items from him that I paid for at a price that only VIP attendees received at specific shows on the Synthesis tour.) I'm so appreciative of this interview, but I want to know just how "Speak To Me" came to be into the encore for the Synthesis tour, originally.
