Though we do need variety, we also need to stop policing the sexuality of black women all of the time. Anytime black women talk about sex or embrace their sexuality people want to come out and be critical and offended. I look forward to seeing more and more female rappers with different styles, and also look forward to black women not being criticized and held to a higher hypocritical standard for everything they do, especially sexually. May the sexual revolution continue without shame and fear of judgement.
