    I am so glad that for once the popular reliable brands recommend in a video are the same as those recommended here! Italians nail techs also mostly use Marathon and Strong, which won't leave me wondering whether I should listen to local creators or international ones (who have access to many more brands)

    I personally love portable drills and as I'm not working much, I bought one of the Melody Susie portable rechargeable drills. It's light, no cords (can't stand tge cords, every device with cords drives me nuts 😅) and for the price I paid, I think I got a bargain. It doesn't overheat, it doesn't lag, it is fast and with appropriate drill bits it's a real beast.

    I'm really happy to see this video I've worked professionally for 13 years and for 6 years I had strong nail drill which was perfect, but when I moved to the UK unfortunately I couldn't find the original one of strong and as you say online like amazon are not reliable. I really was disappointed to find the real site to buy one. Thank you to share this golden knowledge😊. As a nail technician I must say STRONG e-file are really perfect.

    When ordering an e-file on-line, I've never seen the torque listed. I definitely do appreciate the info though. FYI, I'm just a DIYer at home, but I do want quality products.

      For me personally if they don't provide that info, it's an unreliable handpiece with low power. Always buy from reputable brands.

    Thank you for making this! I desperately need a new efile and the market is a minefield! The last one I bought from a very well know gel polish brand which was quite expensive so I thought it would be really good but it didn't even last a year before reverse mode stopped working,. I've been struggling on for 4 years thinking because it still works in forward it doesn't need replacing. Can't wait to get something that works!

    Great video. I love your videos and follow you regularly
    I saw your many reviews also with portable e files. I am now confused🤔 You get honest review on portale e files also and told all the best about them. That they are for professional use.

    • @Nailcou
      @Nailcou  Год назад +6

      Thank you! Some portable e-files are suitable for professional use, that's right. But I think it also depends on the amount of work / clients every day. When using e-file for ~ 8 hours/day, everyday, the desktop e-files might be a better option as they are designed for this amount of daily work. I got a chance to test them in beauty school for a few year, and surprisingly, they were still working after a long time.
      If a nail technician is using e-file not as much, let's say only 2-3 clients per day, don't need to deal with excessive product removal, etc. High quality portable e-files will work too.
      Sorry about the confusion, I think I'll need to do an updated version of the overall e-files overview video sometime soon 🙂

    I've been checking these products but I've noticed that the power they advertise is never the real power of the electric motor ......they write 45-65 W but then the output is up to 0-32 V and 0.5 A which is 16W max, meaning that when you lower the voltage to reduce the speed it will probably still provide just 0.5 A and so lower even than that. What is up with that and why nobody talks about it?

    Why is there never talk about the newer brushless systems. They redid the motors inside the drills to be brushless- so they do not heat up and last longer. They are expensive though.
