Very nice! We took the trail up in 2021 but the new summit visitor center and marker were not finished. Appears the construction crew did a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing!
Pretty neat up there ! I would drive up again….. but I’m not wasting my money on those “world famous doughnuts” again. They were hard as rocks. If you do go again, you have to (in advance) purchase a permit to drive the last 16 miles to the top of the mountain. Thanks for watching!
It’ll cost $15 per person to get into the park area, then it’s only an addition $2 for the “timed entry” permit. They say it’s to assure enough parking space at the top ?
Was that somewhere in Indiana I haven’t been to yet? Lol… Cool to get to see such neat places. Did 6 miles today. Never thought I’d be able to say that. So grateful. So happy to be able to get out in nature. Next will be getting a backpack, sleeping system, etc so I can do overnight hikes. Little at a time. Thanks for sharing!

It’s gonna be nice! They still have some large equipment up there doing some outside work . But I think it looks like they are nearly finished.
Changed up the place since I was there last.

@Michael Peterson Backpacking a permit to summit? Well that's new.
