"Was it hard stopping the American invasion?"
"Actually, no, it was super easy, barely an inconvenience ".
    "Oh, really?"
"Yeah, they came by and asked 'Is this Canada?'. We said, "No". and they left.

We could apologize for him, but many of US refuse to take responsibility for his actions, or the blame for his shame. His win was even a greater shock than any of his nonsensical claims & audacious deeds. By hook or by crook is what he's a pro at, so this win is part of the deal. His bark is usually worse than his bite, but when he's unleashed he's rabid. He's a total embarrassment at this stage, and soon beginning to become a threat that requires proper restraint. The queen was exposed in both the UK and Canada, secretly vetoing bills that your elected reps proposed to become law. It's not that they couldn't care less, it's because the democrats were funding a genocide in Gaza. The democrats basically set up a perfect storm to reelect Trump by going all in on war. The lesser of the two evils strategy never works, yet the dems time and time again double down on it. Let's not pretend Bidens failures weren't part of why people didn't show up to the poles. If you want to get a dictator, just have a failing political system. Healthy political systems don't let someone like Trump anywhere near high office. Americans have to stop seeing him as the disease. He is a symptom of the disease. Until the country wakes up to this, nothing will change.

Hate is an emotion. It is very hard to stand with an emotion. Seriously, what kind of education are they giving you in Canada. Hate is an emotion. It is not an action and it is not a form of dialectic. That comes from goals 38 and 39 of the communist manifesto read to US congress in 1963.
      38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
      39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
You are trying to claim hate, a psychological state needs to be used as an abusive means of coercive control over those who oppose communism. You do not get define nor categorize who is feeling emotion, nor what hate is. You are the same people that tell us we must use whatever pronouns someone invents for themselves because nobody else can define them, while simultaneously claiming everyone is made of hate and you can now stand next to this invisible being you have created. Keep in mind, that the US is complaining that we don't spend enough on "arctic defense"... the last time we tried to get submarines that could patrol the arctic, they themselves vetoed it. They didn't want us in arctic waters... so we bought less capable subs to please them! Now they are complaining that we did what they asked?
The easiest way to get our defense spending to 2% of GDP is to take some of the current submarine procurement to get a platform (like what the French have.) that can launch ICBMs. The subs don't have to be nuclear powered, but we need to arm them with nuclear missles. Our independent nuclear force would participate collective nuclear security for NATO, like the UK and French ones do, but also be available in the worst case should our neighbours get twitchy. These things could patrol the arctic also. We clearly don't have the people to defend from a conventional US military attack.
Probably the surest way to get independent force de frappe is to partner with the French. The British get their missiles from the Americans, and the Koreans are definitely tightly aligned with US for obvious reasons. But could probably do a competitive procurement between the Koreans and the French. It's not a matter of repudiating co-operation with the US, but more about distributing risk. The Americans are right, we depend too much on them. Canada needs to be able to stand on it's own.

The provinces are sending delegations to the individual states and their affected businesses but I don't know what they expect to work out from that.

Why didn't Canada invest in its military and navy? Arm forces need a consistent investment in equipment. You can't build an army overnight-military personnels also need bouts of trainings to become effective.
