After a late night of travelling we had a very relaxing first day at the Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort & Spa Hotel. We spent some time round the pool/slides and visited the buffet restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Brought back memories of him in 2017 on the hotel slide 😍 He solo vlogged around the splash zone at a waterpark later in the holiday. We can't wait to see and hear what he got up too! Xx

Hi Lee ❤ Thanks hun - we were very lucky with the view. Upgrade options were the sea view, or a premium room or private pool. We realised over the week the other two options would have been up the other end of the resort. We 100% preferred being near the pools and things so we could nip in and out the room. xx

It was gorgeous Anne. We enjoyed the simplicity of all inclusive but definitely like venturing out for meals and drinks too. Its so much fun giving them a camera and seeing what they get up too 😂 Have a lovely weekend and take care xx
All the feels guys !!! I'm totally with Steph on the corned beef errgh. Cannot believe how deeply Jimmy sleeps and we are loving the water slide cam !! Loved this we could really feel the holiday vibes and the place looks awesome

Awwww your Hotel looks amazing, the sea view room is awesome - those doughnuts Jimmy ate round the pool are called Loukoumades which is a traditional desert in Greece and Cyprus 💗 Have to agree with Jimmy on the toasted sandwiches too (recommend with Halloumi cheese, Lountza ham and salad!).
Loved watching Jimmy’s GoPro shots in the pool....oh to be on holiday again in the sunshine ☀️ (we had to postpone this years sadly), looking forward to the seeing the rest of your amazing holiday vlog🍹

Cheers mate - we've been talking to the Knightstrider for a while as he is a big Florida fan too. We were going to meet up in Tenerife but that will have to wait. Feel very lucky to have got away 👍 Have a good week mate.
Woooow what a gorgeous resort 😍 absolutely loving the Jimmy Cam down the slides 👍👍 Oh some people get so competitive with the hotel quizzes and bingo don't they 🤣..our family still remember a lady called Mary from a hotel in Sa Coma we went to every year when i was a kid..she used to get so worked up over the bingo....you would've thought she was playing for a Grand not a bottle of 2 euro champers 🤣🤣 can't wait for next week's installment ☀️🍹xx

I recommend Argassi if you go back to Zante. Do Bed & Breakfast, so many great restaurants on the doorstep. I go every year. x

Aw the hotel looked great, thinking bout cornbeef, have u ever heard of the saying cornbeef legs?? It's the effect u get on your legs when sitting in front of the fire too long, use to do that when I was younger to try get a tan 🙄 but got told from my dad all's I'll get is cornbeef legs😂 I don't know, I'm a bit clever now lol, anyway another great vlog, have a great weekend and next week 😁xx

Loving your holiday vlogs can’t wait to see the next one can I ask is that a special water T-shirt Jimmy is wearing for the slides that’s such a good idea we went to a waterpark last year and my son got a bad scratch on his back from going down the water slides would you recommend this hotel
Hi Derek, its a rash vest. We all wear them as they keep you protected from the sun (UPF) and are suitable for slides and pools. I would 100% go back to this hotel in the future 👍

Need to teach Jimmy negotiating skills. I would have held out for €10 to dance on the stage. Glad you managed to get away being key workers in a stressful time. It’s interesting to see how air,Ines and hotels interpret the distancing rules. I flew twice last year. Once from London to Newquay which was on,y 30.mins so only time for a bottle of water and bag of crisps in a plastic bag. The other flight was to Gibraltar which was around 3 hrs and the crew passed through the cabin as normal a few times with drinks and food. Looks like a nice hotel with awesome views and pretty decent facilities.

The flights and everything were decent. We've not been abroad since so it's hard for us to compare.

For some reason despite being subscribed with the bell your clogs haven’t been in my feed so I’m on a catch up spree My sister always went to Greece pre covid and one year I got my nephew €30 pocket money from the post office. The day before the trip he had a wobbly tooth so I told him the Greek tooth fairies paid €10 per tooth getting a glare from my sister. She said due to the Greek financial crisis that might change so not to get my nephews hopes up. (They did pay €10!). The next year I didn’t have time to go to the post office but there was a Euro ATM but it gave €20 notes. I thought €20 is a nice gift to get something whilst out and about my nephew didn’t need €40 when I gave him the €20 he thanked me but looked dejected and said things were more expensive in Greece due to the financial crisis and I should remember that for next year….. he was about Jimmy’s age!,

We have recently found your vlog we love it :) we were meant to be coming to this hotel in two weeks as we have booked our wedding here but now has been cancelled due to COVID do you have any footage of the beach or the grass area where they hold weddings ? We hope you had a great time were so disappointed we are not able to go this year
Hi Becky, I'm so sorry to hear that 😔 We do have footage from the a la carte restaraunt (Neromylos) where I believe they hold the weddings and it is picture perfect by the sea. Stunning. That will be in one of the coming videos and we also did a full resort tour which I really hope you will find useful if you plan on re-booking. I would 100% recommend booking a sea view room if you are. The staff are amazing and the pools are incredible including an infinity one. I hope whatever you plan gives you the most perfect day 💖 xx

Does anyone know if the restaurant dress code is enforced here? I’m going in a few weeks time and am wondering what men should wear on their feet!
Hi, this was a TripAdvisor review from June this year (I've copy and pasted)
Restaurant
The main restaurant has a dress code that the hotel does not enforce just like other rules they have. There were mainly men wearing vests sports shorts sliders and flip flops and nothing was said.
The main restaurant is far from what you would think for a 5* it was more like a works cafeteria very basic seating with undertrained staff
The reason I was always told that you shouldn’t swim directly after eating is because your stomach is using a lot of energy to digest your food so u will have less energy to be able to swim and it can give u stomach cramps
That sounds sensible enough to us so we will go with that from now 😉👍
Watch out for us becoming experts on future holidays lol
Have to say I never ever rest after a meal on holiday . I’m first to dive in the pool after a burger and fries 😂
