I've holidayed with many different package companies over my 70+ years and I have to say that Jet2 are head and shoulders ahead of the rest in terms of customer service, attention to detail, and above all value for money. And what a great little guy Caspar is

I have nothing but praise for Jet 2. I have been on a few package deals with them . Alongside Virgin Atlantic ones. I have found all the staff , cabin crew and resort staff to be very helpful and professional. They are excellent for bargain getaways .
We have done 5 holidays with Jet2 in the past 18 months our next is in October with seventh for Christmas/New Year. Each with the exception of the last went without a hitch. The problem was one of our cases was left behind at our UK airport, it appears the tag got caught in something and came off the case. Once we collected our other cases we approached a Jet2 member of staff and they immediately said agh Mr xxxx, yes we know your case has missed the flight and it will be out on the next flight and will be delivered to your hotel tomorrow morning and because we had included our Jet2 booking reference within our case they were quickly able to identify where it should be. They told us if we needed to buy anything as a result then we should keep the receipts and make a claim. As it was the case only contained a variety of clothes for each of us so it wasn't an issue. The case turned up as promised and didn't spoil our holiday in any way. I think the fact as soon as they were aware who I was and they knew all about the case and the actions they said would happen and did meant we had every confidence in Jet2, we didn't make a complaint nor have we left negative feedback, in fact we left positive feedback, things happen.
Ive said this before but I am so shocked at how good Casper is, he really is a dream baby! And he’s got the cutest smile! You must be great parents for him to be so calm and sweet
Genuinely the first time I have actually committed to watching a travel vlog this long. I normally wouldn't watch anything over 25 mins so well done on making me watch and keeping me until the end
Flew with Jet2 earlier this year, first time on my own, and have to say it was the best experience travelling abroad, start to finish, that I have experienced, from the checkin, flight, food, hotel and staff. it wa spot on
I enjoyed seeing the family travel experience. It is more work than when you do it alone, but it feels like added value when it is a family experience.
I went on my first jet2 holiday last year as a family of four to Malta and the whole experience from jet2 was excellent from start to finish , i was that impressed ive booked for Portugal this year with them
CS-TRJ was the aircraft you guys travelled on. It’s 24.3 years old and was manufactured in Hamburg in Germany in 1999. It has been with Jet2 since March 2023. The aircraft is an A321-200. Hope that helps and I loved the video!
we booked last minute with jet 2 last year to Lanzarote(after TUI cancelled our Crete holiday), it was one of the smoothest holidays in terms of travel and the hotel was lovely! Jet 2 saved our summer holiday and I’d personally highly recommend!

Been on a few holidays with Jet2. They are a brilliant company to travel with and they really look after you from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.!!
We’ve used jet2 a few times as they are the only direct uk flights to Lesvos in Greece. Never had any issues. Last time we upgraded our transfer to a hire car for the full 2 weeks and it was about the same price as taking the coach transfer and hiring a car for 4 days, which we usually do. It was great, even picking the car up at the airport we beat the coach to our hotel. Then had complete freedom to go wherever we wanted during the holiday, then again we beat the coach back to the airport (and we went the scenic route!)
Fantastic video Tim. I love how you and Gaby integrated all the different stages of your trip into this video and look as though you were all really having fun and enjoying the filming. Love the inclusion of quirky stuff like the spinning suitcase, nearly knocking the wine glass over and Casper turning his breakfast upside down!! Great stuff. one of your best!
Being disabled and housebound, Tim and Gabby, your Vlogs are amongst my favourite to watch, and this one was probably the best one for me. I find myself smiling all the way though. (With the exception of literally, 'literally' being your most oversaid word... Oooh It makes me cringe 😬... ) I also can't believe how wonderful Casper is, with a smile to melt hearts. Been with Jet2 for my last three holidays and personally wouldn’t go on a package deal without them. They’ve been terrific. Love the Jet2 flights, hotels, transfers, cannot fault them. I’ve been with other holiday companies and Jet2 are definitely the best. 22kg of luggage, 10kg of hand luggage, perfect. You can pay for your holiday in instalments, which is great for those on a budget, they stay in touch and keep you updated with everything going on. Great company to holiday with. On a separate note; Menorca is a very quiet island always has been. Try one of the other Balearic Islands for a more lively holiday Tim and Gabby. Holly will appreciate that more. Gabby are you learning Spanish?

Have to say Jet2 are brilliant. Their main advantage is their staff, there are lots of them and they’re very well trained. Have flown with them a lot and their airport service is slick to say the least! Other airlines (like TUI in my experience recently), have non of this. It’s a false economy for businesses to cut staffing, because that’s when things go wrong/people are rushed/and there’s no one to pick up the slack when something happens.
Loved it! I was absolutely glued from start to finish! The place you stayed really was.. unusual! Lovely scenery but not much there.. I just found it all so fascinating.. Had to laugh when Tim said, "We've arrived where the action is.. _NOT_ happening.." 😂 Gaby made me laugh.. playing with a giant bedbug like that! 🪲🤣 Little angel Thumps is growing fast and Holly is lovely! We usually book holidays with TUI but did our first Jet2 holiday to Tenerife last year because they were slightly cheaper for the same hotel. Also, their standard seats on the plane have more legroom than TUI's and the onboard service was a little better. It's a shame they don't do more destinations, or long haul.
Hi guys, Just back this morning from Turkey with TUI! Had a brilliant weeks holiday and found the experience pretty much on a par with Jet2 holidays we’ve had in the past! Like the fact that luggage and transfers are included with both of these company’s, a bit like package holidays used to be back in the 80s & 90s! Tim, what a lucky lad you are to have such a lovely family, gives a true perspective to taking a holiday with young family! Top Job!👍😊❤️

£1000 for a week - that’s a cracking price for 3 adults (and Casper!) quite a quiet place but looks great for young kids. Pool looks nice. Hope Holly had a good time as well! Casper definitely looked like he had a great time!
Just a couple of bullet points. 1) you look like a wonderful happy family 2) you deserve a free holiday from jet 2 as you did show them in a good light and a honest apptoach 3) loved your video so I subscribased purely on this one 4) I felt and lovedit as I felt part of your family a big thank you for sharing.
@@WalkWithMeTim tbf some of Jet2's own aircraft are 30+ years old. They lease in additional aircraft from the likes of HiFly and Titan Airways during the busier summer months. Tui do the same.
Other thing to remember here is aircraft are regularly maintained, much more regularly than road vehicles. You'll generally see short haul airlines with newer aircraft as their high number of flight cycles will put wear on the airframe from the pressurisation more quickly than medium/long haul operators who fly longer routes but less cycles.
I love how positive you are! Even when things might not be as nice as they could or should be, or situations turn out to be a little disappointing, you always manage to put a positive spin on it, or just don't worry about things, very refreshing and makes you so fun to watch.
Hi guys, we first went with Jet2 after Covid and have just booked our 5th holiday with them 😊 Cannot fault them at all, reps everywhere but you get all the info you need we haven’t needed to use them out of the airport. Very good for lesser known Greek holidays, I think I mentioned before, Parga, on Gabys channel. We stayed in Cala’n Forcat when we went to Menorca 12 years ago and it’s a great resort. It is closer to Ciutidella which is the old capital……so worth a visit, very historical and beautiful 😻
45:55 you would be disappointed if you bite in to that expecting a banana, its a plantain lol. It is nearly always cooked - a bit like a potato. Plantain chips are nice.

As I’m sat on a balcony overlooking the ocean writing this on a jet2 holiday I can say it’s the best carrier I’ve used….all the staff are lovely and the flights are great……
We absolutely loved our Jet2 holiday. Loved the fact they have their own section of the airport just for jet2 customers. It really personalised the experience. The plane was immaculate, the staff were excellent and the hotel beyond our expectations. There was no delays and the transfer was simple. Even the coach was clean and air conditioned. Couldnt fault it for the price at all. Cant wait to fly again.

Hi Tim! Travelled with them twice. In 2019 to Cyprus, and just lately a couple of weeks ago to Corfu. Both times we couldn't fault them. I have to say all online surveys by other agencies (usually online newspaper travel sections) consistently rate them highly, so I guess it's not just us.
I love Jet2, always had excellent service, very professional, and they are always present and on hand to show you where you have to be. I always thought you paid for reserving your seats instead of maybe having to sit in different seats from your party of people. You got a really good price in my opinion.
I had my first ever Jet2 package holiday just last month to Mallorca. They were excellent, both airport and flight experiences were faultless, bus transfers were absolutely fine, and the app gives you everything you need. No doubts about booking with them again. Oh, great video as always by the way 😅
The aircraft you travelled out on was an Airbus A321-231and is 24 years old. It is a Portuguese registered aircraft with the CS- prefix on the registration. UK registered aircraft have the G- prefix. Although the aircraft has a Jet2 sticker planted near the nose, the jet is operated/owned by HiFly hence a mostly HiFly painted livery. That aside, what a bundle of joy your little lad is! My Daughter was just a touch older than Casper when she had her first flight, ironically also on a Jet2 flight but to Portugal!! She was a little more of a handful as she was in full toddler mode and wanted to explore....difficult on an aeroplane! Thankfully she didn't scream the place down, but boy it was a long 3 hours! That was 16 years ago now! This was a really enjoyable change in video Tim and Family, Thanks!
Me and the wife just got back from the Insotel hotel at Punta Prima!, we took our 6 month old baby with us. Ear defenders and feeding the baby a bottle on take off made the journey so easy. Luckily our baby is a happy soul just like Casper.

The plane you traveled on was a company from Portugal called Hi-fly, which is on lease to jet 2 for the summer season. Its a Airbus 321. 24 yes old. Enjoyed your vlog. I hadn’t been on a package holiday for years, before travelling with Jet2. We returned yesterday after our fourth trip away with them. They’ve never let me down, even yesterday when there was a strike in Malaga. Would highly recommend !!!

My family and I are going on Jet2 holiday next year, to Benidorm (we love watching your vlogs there Tim). We paid for the plane seats, but you pay to pick your seat's so you can be together. We are glad to do so too as I have difficulty walking, so i know my seat's will be easy to get to.
I have travelled with my 9 children. The faces of passengers on a Coach Plane when we trotted on! by the time we reached our destination, I had nothing but compliments of how well behaved my children were as some passengers openly admitted they dreaded seeing all those children travelling lol.
Love travelling with Jet2 Tim. I find them the best value from Birmingham airport. I travel with my 2 mates and dont pay extra for the seat booking and sometimes we are sat together. I would pay extra if travelling with my family tho. Cheers Tim
You are brave bringing the little one on holiday but he seems very well behaved and always smiling. Family holidays are important as you need time together. Fantastic holiday for a decent price. Accommodation looked great and it didn't look too busy.
From working within a travel agency myself, I have to say jet2 are defo at the moment the best tour operator from the uk! Being based in Scotland didn’t actually realise they used some of these different airlines :) they are very good at what they have and service is fantastic! Saying this I went with tui in may and found it just as good as jet2. Little tip if flight has seats left together is don’t pay until check in. Jet2 will always put them together if available. They also when allocate still give you an option to change and pay if you want but can save a bit of money! Brilliant watch again :)

Great family holiday upload showing what we could possibly expect. The large Bananas are Plantain, fantastic tasting fruits if you know how too cook them. Really enjoy watching you Tim, Gabbie, Holly and Casper. X reminds me of family holidays past. X
Was just about to comment on the plantains myself. Technically they are a fruit, but like tomatoes they are often eaten as a vegetable in savoury dishes. Unlike bananas, they cannot be eaten raw.
At an airport check in one trip following a mum with three young children and a trolley full of luggage. Just before arriving at desk a child accidentally kicked her mobile phone from her hand which smashed on the floor. This caused a lot of distress as all her boarding passes were on the phone. I always print off my boarding passes now. Enjoyed the video, thank you
My family have been on several Jet2 holidays and never had a bad experience, ground and air crew and reps have always been cheerful and helpful. Check in at Leeds Bradford airport is a doddle with only very rare queues. Regarding paying for aircraft seats..... in my experience you only pay extra if you want specific seats or "seats together", otherwise if you don't mind taking the risk of your group possibly (but unlikely) being separated your seat is included in the basic cost. We've never been to Menorca so your video has been very helpful. Thanks guys.

We flew with Jet2 to Kefalonia from Manchester. The ground staff and flight crew were great,friendly and helpful. And flight was reasonably priced. Going again with Jet2 this year. You only get loyalty by offering a good product. Well done Jet2

Star of the show was definitely Casper what a happy little chappy he seems to be 😊 regarding Jet 2 holidays i find that the airport experience & flights are very good plus the fact they give you 23 kg of hold luggage included ( a lot more than most others) but I find their hotels a step down from Tui ( that's my experience anyway) also most companies charge to chose your seat now unfortunately !! Loved this video with you all making the most of it !! Thanks again 👍

You can pay for your holiday in instalments, which is great for those on a budget, they stay in touch and keep you updated with everything going on. Great company to holiday with.
On a separate note; Menorca is a very quiet island always has been. Try one of the other Balearic Islands for a more lively holiday Tim and Gabby. Holly will appreciate that more.

Have to say Jet2 are brilliant.
Their main advantage is their staff, there are lots of them and they’re very well trained.
Have flown with them a lot and their airport service is slick to say the least!
Other airlines (like TUI in my experience recently), have non of this.
It’s a false economy for businesses to cut staffing, because that’s when things go wrong/people are rushed/and there’s no one to pick up the slack when something happens.

We usually book holidays with TUI but did our first Jet2 holiday to Tenerife last year because they were slightly cheaper for the same hotel. Also, their standard seats on the plane have more legroom than TUI's and the onboard service was a little better. It's a shame they don't do more destinations, or long haul.

Just back this morning from Turkey with TUI!
Had a brilliant weeks holiday and found the experience pretty much on a par with Jet2 holidays we’ve had in the past!
Like the fact that luggage and transfers are included with both of these company’s, a bit like package holidays used to be back in the 80s & 90s!
Tim, what a lucky lad you are to have such a lovely family, gives a true perspective to taking a holiday with young family!

£1000 for a week - that’s a cracking price for 3 adults (and Casper!) quite a quiet place but looks great for young kids. Pool looks nice. Hope Holly had a good time as well! Casper definitely looked like he had a great time!

@@WalkWithMeTim tbf some of Jet2's own aircraft are 30+ years old. They lease in additional aircraft from the likes of HiFly and Titan Airways during the busier summer months. Tui do the same.
Other thing to remember here is aircraft are regularly maintained, much more regularly than road vehicles. You'll generally see short haul airlines with newer aircraft as their high number of flight cycles will put wear on the airframe from the pressurisation more quickly than medium/long haul operators who fly longer routes but less cycles.
I love how positive you are! Even when things might not be as nice as they could or should be, or situations turn out to be a little disappointing, you always manage to put a positive spin on it, or just don't worry about things, very refreshing and makes you so fun to watch.
Hi guys, we first went with Jet2 after Covid and have just booked our 5th holiday with them 😊 Cannot fault them at all, reps everywhere but you get all the info you need we haven’t needed to use them out of the airport. Very good for lesser known Greek holidays, I think I mentioned before, Parga, on Gabys channel. We stayed in Cala’n Forcat when we went to Menorca 12 years ago and it’s a great resort. It is closer to Ciutidella which is the old capital……so worth a visit, very historical and beautiful 😻
45:55 you would be disappointed if you bite in to that expecting a banana, its a plantain lol. It is nearly always cooked - a bit like a potato. Plantain chips are nice.

As I’m sat on a balcony overlooking the ocean writing this on a jet2 holiday I can say it’s the best carrier I’ve used….all the staff are lovely and the flights are great……

We absolutely loved our Jet2 holiday. Loved the fact they have their own section of the airport just for jet2 customers. It really personalised the experience. The plane was immaculate, the staff were excellent and the hotel beyond our expectations. There was no delays and the transfer was simple. Even the coach was clean and air conditioned. Couldnt fault it for the price at all. Cant wait to fly again.

Sometimes I crave an out of the way location like that, other times I want to be in the centre of the action, it’s always good to do some research. Besides taking cruises, never done the package holiday thing, but that seems like great value. Cheers Tim and family 👍

Travelled with them twice. In 2019 to Cyprus, and just lately a couple of weeks ago to Corfu. Both times we couldn't fault them. I have to say all online surveys by other agencies (usually online newspaper travel sections) consistently rate them highly, so I guess it's not just us.
I love Jet2, always had excellent service, very professional, and they are always present and on hand to show you where you have to be. I always thought you paid for reserving your seats instead of maybe having to sit in different seats from your party of people. You got a really good price in my opinion.
I had my first ever Jet2 package holiday just last month to Mallorca. They were excellent, both airport and flight experiences were faultless, bus transfers were absolutely fine, and the app gives you everything you need. No doubts about booking with them again. Oh, great video as always by the way 😅

The aircraft you travelled out on was an Airbus A321-231and is 24 years old. It is a Portuguese registered aircraft with the CS- prefix on the registration. UK registered aircraft have the G- prefix. Although the aircraft has a Jet2 sticker planted near the nose, the jet is operated/owned by HiFly hence a mostly HiFly painted livery. That aside, what a bundle of joy your little lad is! My Daughter was just a touch older than Casper when she had her first flight, ironically also on a Jet2 flight but to Portugal!! She was a little more of a handful as she was in full toddler mode and wanted to explore....difficult on an aeroplane! Thankfully she didn't scream the place down, but boy it was a long 3 hours! That was 16 years ago now! This was a really enjoyable change in video Tim and Family, Thanks!

We've started using Jet2 after some disastrous experiences with TUI and I can't fault Jet2 at all. They've been brilliant
Me and the wife just got back from the Insotel hotel at Punta Prima!, we took our 6 month old baby with us. Ear defenders and feeding the baby a bottle on take off made the journey so easy. Luckily our baby is a happy soul just like Casper.
Loved seeing this different video and it's always lovely to see Gaby and baby Casper (he is always so happy and sweet in your videos!) and bonus having Holly in it, too! I've never thought about doing a package holiday anywhere, but you have me considering it... FYI Shirley Valentine was filmed in Mykonos in Greece!
Casper is a gorgeous baby with the most beautiful smile. It is so lovely to see you all having such fun exploring all these different places. I've barely been to any of them so it's great to sit and watch you explore. I decided to get rid of my telly and cancel my tv licence recently so now I sit and eat my dinner watching your escapades most evenings and I'm still sat in my chair several hours later! 🤣
The plane you traveled on was a company from Portugal called Hi-fly, which is on lease to jet 2 for the summer season. Its a Airbus 321. 24 yes old. Enjoyed your vlog. I hadn’t been on a package holiday for years, before travelling with Jet2. We returned yesterday after our fourth trip away with them. They’ve never let me down, even yesterday when there was a strike in Malaga. Would highly recommend !!!

Just returned from a Jet2 Holiday. For a package holiday fairly low budget it was brilliant. I would certainly recommend.
My family and I are going on Jet2 holiday next year, to Benidorm (we love watching your vlogs there Tim). We paid for the plane seats, but you pay to pick your seat's so you can be together. We are glad to do so too as I have difficulty walking, so i know my seat's will be easy to get to.
Holly made it so obvious she didn't like the camera, which was hilarious when she kept covering her face.

I have travelled with my 9 children. The faces of passengers on a Coach Plane when we trotted on! by the time we reached our destination, I had nothing but compliments of how well behaved my children were as some passengers openly admitted they dreaded seeing all those children travelling lol.

Love travelling with Jet2 Tim. I find them the best value from Birmingham airport. I travel with my 2 mates and dont pay extra for the seat booking and sometimes we are sat together. I would pay extra if travelling with my family tho. Cheers Tim

You are brave bringing the little one on holiday but he seems very well behaved and always smiling. Family holidays are important as you need time together. Fantastic holiday for a decent price. Accommodation looked great and it didn't look too busy.
From working within a travel agency myself, I have to say jet2 are defo at the moment the best tour operator from the uk! Being based in Scotland didn’t actually realise they used some of these different airlines :) they are very good at what they have and service is fantastic! Saying this I went with tui in may and found it just as good as jet2. Little tip if flight has seats left together is don’t pay until check in. Jet2 will always put them together if available. They also when allocate still give you an option to change and pay if you want but can save a bit of money! Brilliant watch again :)

Was just about to comment on the plantains myself. Technically they are a fruit, but like tomatoes they are often eaten as a vegetable in savoury dishes. Unlike bananas, they cannot be eaten raw.

At an airport check in one trip following a mum with three young children and a trolley full of luggage. Just before arriving at desk a child accidentally kicked her mobile phone from her hand which smashed on the floor. This caused a lot of distress as all her boarding passes were on the phone. I always print off my boarding passes now. Enjoyed the video, thank you

My family have been on several Jet2 holidays and never had a bad experience, ground and air crew and reps have always been cheerful and helpful. Check in at Leeds Bradford airport is a doddle with only very rare queues. Regarding paying for aircraft seats..... in my experience you only pay extra if you want specific seats or "seats together", otherwise if you don't mind taking the risk of your group possibly (but unlikely) being separated your seat is included in the basic cost.
We've never been to Menorca so your video has been very helpful.

We flew with Jet2 to Kefalonia from Manchester. The ground staff and flight crew were great,friendly and helpful. And flight was reasonably priced.

Hi Tim & family just watched your video on Jet 2 to Menorca! Star of the show was definitely Casper what a happy little chappy he seems to be 😊 regarding Jet 2 holidays i find that the airport experience & flights are very good plus the fact they give you 23 kg of hold luggage included ( a lot more than most others) but I find their hotels a step down from Tui ( that's my experience anyway) also most companies charge to chose your seat now unfortunately !! Loved this video with you all making the most of it !! Thanks again 👍
