Thanks for this! You paid great attention to snaking over and through by Sidakov’s right hand to grab the opponent’s bicep from the inside and pull the opponent forward in the slide by, but to me it looks like that forward pull is too weak. To produce the effect we see look at Sidakov’s collar tie on the other side, Sidakov’s left hand on opponent’s neck, that has great mechanical leverage and seems equally or more important for pulling the opponent forward, as the snake-through outward-hooking right hand. Pull that head forward and down with that collar tie simultaneously: Now that’s the big strong effect we see. Just a thought.
You should peep Togrhul Asgarov slideby he won the 2012 olympics with. Great weight class that year 61 keys. Coleman scott besik khudkov and opan saat. Its kinda like the jax forest slideby with collar n elbow. But with the step in kickstand finish like the Terao brothers used to hit too.
Much gratitude for your contribution as a reliable resource for wrestling techniques brother. I do have a question; How does one go about watching wrestling from Russians like Sidakov, Zhamalov, etc? Specifically how do you watch competitions like Russian Nationals and Yarygin Grand Prix that are hosted in Russia? What provider?
I love your Videos! Really appreciate the effort you put into this. I was wondering, how can I use the underhook without head position without getting my arm cranked down and potentially hurt by their overhook? Opponents seem to pressure down really hard on my underhooking elbow, that makes it hard to move the guy. Is it about off balancing right away as soon as I punch the underhook?
How is Sidakov hitting the Slide-By if opponent doesn't give him forward pressure? Normally, it's taught that the perfect time to hit a Slide-by is when opponent pressures in but in these videos it doesn't look like the opponents are pressuring forward much.
He’s moving his feet and rotating. Big pull. He is getting a little foreword pressure. It doesn’t take much, if they’re even slightly leaning forward the big pull can get them going.
If you look at the opponent’s feet you can see the back foot being lifted in some of the situations. So I’m guessing he has a feel for the subtle pressure change when hitting the move. I’m not too sure he might just be that good.
I appreciate the shoutout! This is amazing stuff 👊🏼
Sidakov is so fast, I have to watch on slow motion. He’s one of the best ever.
Love the Cayden Henschel film can't wait for the muggy match thx for the great vids
Yeah its going to be exciting. And thanks for your earlier comment. Trying to post as much as possible whenever I have free time
ngl, its been awhile since ive tuned in to your channel. ive been missin out. happy to see how much the channel has grown
@5:43 perfect breakdown
Very grateful for the tutorials 🙏🏽
That is a slick technique he’s using, transitioning from his underhook to the slide by. He’s found a glitch.
Thanks for this!

For a slide by you don’t necessarily have to pull they with a lot of force. It’s more about waiting until they are already going forward.
Thank you
Love these tutorials. Have you done a breakdown on Bisek Kudukhov’s misdirection single leg?
No. I've never watched him
@@earnyourgold great Russian world champ from the 2008-2012 range. Check out some of his footage!
@earnyourgold highly recommend, think you'd like his style
Slahd bah 😄

No specific provider. I typically use an English to Russian translator and then search them up in Russian. Get a lot more results that way
The slide by will be the new meta in the next 2-3 years. Great upper body move to keep your opponent honest
3:04 undertook slide by without head pos
Damn thats really smart

Yes. And you need to try to keep you elbow high as soon as you punch the underhook. Once they crank it down it's almost useless
Could you break down Chance mar stellar?
Yes. I watched all of his matches a week ago

Had the same question in mind
@@PYROMARUany step forward from them is enough pressure. If they never give you any step they eat stall calls

It's all about rotation and pulling.
Are you planning to make a video in chance marsteller?
Yes. I watched all his matches about a week ago
Do u think this is the superior slide by? I do it just holding the elbo I wonder if it televises it to much by going inside
Does Sidikov have really big hands or long fingers or something?
You should be a coach
Why go for the gold, wouldnt it be smarter to go for mma and make money
A lot of wrestlers(most outside of Americs) get paid a good deal by their country if the win
An Olympic Champion in wrestling in Russia is well taken care of. I'm pretty sure he's rich
