Thank you, this time the cleaning didn't get rid of the err-4 message but taking the back/reset sure did. One thing that wasn't mentioned - you need to remove the back cover from the bottom section (where the two bigger screws are).

Champ! I had even bought a new heating element (smelled burning) and put it in only for the dryer to err4 after a few runs. Your tip fixed it and hopefully the silicon keeps it fixed!

I was getting an error4 after I had a non-spin issue. The motor capacitor was faulty. The motor failing to turn over meant the blower fan stopped too so the heater element would quickly overheat and trip the resettable fuse. $33 for a capacitor solved it👌

empty drum unit work fine in auto
wet towel in drum unit would stop spinning on the auto cycle near the end where it stops and starts couldn't turn the drum also error 4
found Mr Wash Washy video on capacitor replacement the motor cant start need the kick of the capacitor to get going. replace part super easy machine would now turn on the auto cycle but before it finishes will error 4
follow this video on error 4 fix the problem system is up and running again.
Yep perfect. Hit the button and added silicon to the seal fixed it. ❤

Exactly what I needed. My dryer model says Cln Lnt (for clean lint) but the outcome was the same.

hi. mine show H20 full. I've cleaned everything. Condenser, lint filter, and whatever I can reach from outside. But the error still show.

Have you ever seen error 4 code but the switch has not activated? Im getting error 4 after 10 minutes of running but when i tried to reset the switch it hasn't popped out. I tried pulling it out to manually reset it but it won't budge. Im thinking the heater element is dead.

Hi there, your video is awesome, thanks so much! I'm currently having problems with err4 and err9 on exact same model. Have yet to try this for the err4 fix (just stumbled on the video tonight) but just wondering if you could please diagnose the err9? Dryer won't heat or stay on long but works on air dry and then reads err4 after about 10mins. Any help would be appreciated 🙏
My dryer, is spinning but its pretty noisy... does this mean i need to change the wheels you were talking about? If so how do i do this?

G'day mate! Thanks for the video! Why does that rear shroud need silicon to ensure a seal? Is there a pressure differential being detected somewhere? Thanks!
I think that fan at the bottom left is pushing air into the shroud, so it needs a bit of a seal so that the air can only escape via the heating element coils. If the air gets out the edges of the shroud then the heating element cuts itself out to stop burning out from lack of airflow.

Yeah their manual is wrong. It's keylock and dryness *level* for 3 sec.
Hello i have this dryer and it keeps cutting out half way saying cln lnt (clean lint) and i always take out the filter and empty it i cant figure out what else to do. Ive had it about a year thanks .

I’m still having a small problem though.
I’ve opened up the back of the dryer and cleaned out the lint everywhere i could find any. But i have a feeling there is still some debris in the intake vent at the front of the machine. It’s making a noise as it’s operating. Any recommendation as to how i might dismantle the bottom of the machine to get to the debris?

I have this same model and I did this but Im getting water dripping from the bottom from the cover.
You need to reseal it with silicone as described in the video.
You don’t need much, but if it’s leaking then perhaps you didn’t use enough the first time.
Hey mate, had this same issue on our dryer. Click the back button at the top of the heat element as per your video and it did it again a number of times.
Purchased a new F&P heat element and just swapped it out, but now the dryer won’t begin to spin without me pushing the drum to turn, then it spins as per normal.
Any ideas on why it doesn’t want to spin on its own when I start a new cycle?
You need to replace the motor starter capacitor. You’ll find instructions easily online.
This answer might come too late to help you, but at least it’s here for others who encounter the same problem, this is the cause of the dryer not spinning 90% of the time for this model.
So Do I HAVE to put the back cover on? Only because mine keeps shorting and I have to constantly press the reset button. We watched this video weeks ago we brought the new element we cleaned all the filters.

Yes you have to put the back cover on. Make sure your fan is running. You also need to clean the condenser on the bottom left hand corner. Sounds like there is not enough airflow so the overtemp fuse keeps tripping

hi did they clean out your dryer before replacing the heater ? this error is usually set by air not flowing properly. Blockage being mainly caused by lint . you can open the back and reset your heater. the error will return if it still has lint buildup
Hi Mr Washy Washy, I have done everything on this. During the run, it will stop after x amount of time and the drum won't rotate then error 4 will come up. I believe this could be the motor. Have you had this?
It’s the heating element not turning on. It’s turning waiting for the heater to turn on but it’s not turning on so it gives an error code
@@askmrwashywashy Thank you for the reply sir. I found out it was the drum guide rollers on the front so I replaced them. The new ones are a bit different to the old ones even though they're made for my model. They ended up plastic welding them selves to the frame since they are slightly different.

Hi. i removed the rear coverplate and the reset button was normal and couldnt press in i ran the dryer with the rear coverplate off and it didnt cut out and show the flashing error code? Any thoughts on this. Appreciate your post and help
Might be some fluff in the dryer. I’d clean the front where the filter goes and clean the condenser

I had the same issue with not being able to push the switch down. Did you ever figure it out? I'm going to try a new heater element.

Hey mate. Is there a trick for the reset button? Have accessed the back section but unable to compress the actual button. It's fixed and doesn't move when I press it.
hi if you pressed it and it doesn't go in it means it didn't pop. Might be an issue with the themostats themselves change them if you can

Mine has a lint filter flashing and any button press results in rapid beeps. Won't start.
From this it sounds like the door switch is not registered as closed
