The grille of the A class sedan looks fierce like the Ford Mustang. Mercedes engine is powerful thanks to their F1 involvement. Between the A class sedan and the C class sedan...I'd pick the A class sedan.
some details missing from your review so just adding in: 06:58 - CKD A200 and A250 both have rear air con vents unlike the CBU units 08:01 - the door panel of the CKD A200 is now fake carbon fibre (A250 retains brushed aluminium) 08:10 - ambient lighting has been removed from CKD A200 (retained on A250)
@@KCHRider beauty is in the eye of beholder. yes the arteon is nice in fact my fren drives one but the target market for a200 and 218i is mainly for single ladies who just want a small car with premium brand to move around. cant imagine them driving arteon as its huge as e class and 5 series.
Singapore price structure is very different, cos the tax amount is based on the built spec hence deriving the OMV, open market value, in order to make it competitive and to grab different segment buyer, there was inevidble spec cutting. The rear aircon option is about sgd 2k to order if you built your own. Couple with the COE differences, the A180 (same engine but 128hp) is mere 15-20k more than usual corolla altis / civic. For city driving car where you dont need the high rpm hp, it is a pretty good bet from C&C Sg to position their car at that price bracket. Just sharing insight from Sg
Its really just selling that badge, that brand.. feature wise wayy backward compared to rising competitors at much cheaper price.. that interior looks cheap
Most local car reviewers tends to pick Merc over Beemer in their reviews even though Beemer is a better car but most of them owns a Beemer.. Go figure.
i was there in this outlet wearing shorts enquire A45 nobody offer me to sit only stand and explain wtf service all pigeon eye, now i place booking at other branch even my gym is next to this outlet cheras branch manager you didnt train your staff .
Theres this thing called dress code if you’ve ever heard of it? No one cares how much money you have, just dress appropriately. You dont attend a formal meeting wearing shorts even if you’re Jeff Bezos now dont you?
Not entirely true. Different model for different needs. No such need to berate others. I have owned many new and old Mercedes and i must say w177 is a pretty good basic car, a good entry level to Mercedes. A most balanced Mercedes motoring should be a mid range E class like the w213 E300 in exclusive trim.
Elegant... Fuel economy.... This is what we need know days........ I love the shape and size

Thanks. I'll amend this in my description
Really? Ambient lightning removed for CKD A200? 😰😱 WOW.
Bought a200 last year Jan. So far so good. Minyak kaw2 jimat
Thanks for sharing. Glad you liked your experience
But for the price between the A200 and the 218i, i rather choose the Arteon.
arteon is 248k bro, no more baseline specs
@@MH-tg2ng but the Arteon's design much more beautiful than the A200.

Arteon sure win lo
guys which one better? A class or C class? Thanks for your feedback
This a200 is a nice affordable runaround car for a young person in their 20s
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
The buttons on the steering are real buttons or haptic feedback kind ?
Good review Kon.. I prefer the A200 too👍😊
so which one better a200 sedan or 218i?
I like the A 200 better as a product, but the 218i gives a better aftersales package.
Same engine as the Renault scenic?
This or Camry facelift ?
Definitely has the Enterprise E console vibe there bro. LLAP!
🖖🖖
cheapest premium brand entry models have poor build quality..go for proper c or 3 series, even those have creaky interiors..
I don’t like the uncovered screen, this must be a cheaper option for them but it looks ugly in my opinion thanks for the video 👍
Haha like singapore, the officially imported cars do not get rear air con vents.
Potong stim weo

The look like japanese budget car especially the back
ouch!
Lower displacement, higher outputs. Puts the 1.4 TSI to shame.
And the engine development by nissan
SHOW!!
If u don't care about th badge u can go for Mazda 3 instead lol save u 50-60k
Mazda is under power If compared to A200.
The Mazda 3 has uglier interior and exterior (my opinion), and not as powerful as the merc.
Completely different car
mantap
Hi, does this A200 equip with 360 camera?
U lousy at parking?
Go for 320i, price abt the same.

It’s a pretty sad car for RM200k…. But ppl who can afford it likes it….
Most local car reviewers tends to pick Merc over Beemer in their reviews even though Beemer is a better car but most of them owns a Beemer.. Go figure.
I mean at least A200 has decent power (over 160hp)and proper 4 cyl engine and less flamboyant exterior
Depends on model.... I pick
- A-Class over 2GC
- 3 Series and 5 Series over C-Class / E-Class
- S-Class over 7 Series

A class are for ppl who cant affort to get a mercedes but still wanted to show off😂😂
same goes to 2 series bro, u only shud buy 2 series in 2 door coupe
Still better than those who can't affort to buy the brand😬😬😬
S class , the minimum class for me to own Mercedes car! A - class make sense to own, for ladies not confident driving a bigger car , esp,; parking.

Try spend over 70K on AMG A46S,that's filthy rich.Even some E class aren't as expensive !
Jokes on you 😂
