AUDI TT 8J MK2 - How to Remove Front Inner Door Card Panel Trim Removal

Guide on how to remove the front inner door card panel from an Audi TT Mk2 (years 2006 - 2014).
The door card panel removal is necessary to perform a number of jobs such as wing mirror, window motor/regulator, door lock, glass etc.

Any hint on how to remove the upholstery part? I have the fabric loose and need to fix it. But seems like the panel is glued.

Yes it would need to come off to get access to the screws.

We are trying to follow this but the clips will NOT budge. Used the tool and pulled a lot but it’s not budging. Any tips?

Try starting in one of the lower corners, and get the trim tool as close to the clip as possible, so the pressure is on the clip. Once the first one goes the rest will follow much easier as you have some leverage with the panel.
Removing the first clip is always the hardest, it will feel like you're going to break something, but it will go.

I did this and now everything on the drivers door panel won't work... can't open the gas tank and the windows won't roll down.. any info on what I may done wrong ?

It sounds like the electrical connector for the door card switches hasn't been plugged back in correctly, it's the connector shown in the video at around 1:59
