Started recently otr at Millis and loved/got used to my truck after they sent me to Kenworth for minor repairs. Switched over to GA Regional this week...boy oh boy is it hard to get used to another one that some other driver didn't take care of.
It definitely sucks getting a truck that someone else has been in before. I am very picky about the trucks I get/got now lol. How do you like regional over otr besides the truck?
@@TwoWheelTrucker1 i don’t know considering there is a lot of slow freight right now. Seen more of the Atlanta and Albany yard than anything lol. Came in at the worst time for miles I suppose.
Thank you!! I currently ride a 2001 Suzuki GSXR 750. If you scroll all the way to my earliest videos I have a few motorcycle videos there. I actually started this channel as a moto vlog then switched it over to trucking content.
@@TwoWheelTrucker1 Nice bike, before the wheelchair I was a Ducati girl and had a 996. Not the most comfortable for long cruises so I also had a Triumph sports cruiser for long trips on the motorway. When I’ve time I’ll def check out a couple of the old moto vlogs Lots of love
@@TwoWheelTrucker1 I was hoping to meet you there sometimes for a pic, I'm there often, I drive for a small company out of Sumter S.C. and Shaw is a daily stop for me. Be safe driver.
@@controlleddetonation8905 maybe I will get dispatched there soon, if so I will reply here if I can remember and let you know. I actually just left Columbia but I wasn't at shaw, I was at beverage south
LOL! I actually don't notice it hardly anymore. I learned to ignore it over time. It's my gear selector lock. I downshift and lock it into 11th gear most of the time when I am heavy and on a road with several hills. That way it keeps me from losing too much speed and momentum on the hills.

@@KatherineCracks Ducati makes a very nice sport bike. I like them. But you are right, our bikes are definitely not comfortable on long rides lol
How often do you come to Shaw in Columbia SC?
Not real often. Maybe once every couple of months. I was going there pretty regularly when I was on my trainers truck

Pull the seatbelt outside the door and close the door on it. Take a pressure washer to it.
Didn't even think about that
how did millis handle you getting paid while the truck was broke down and setting at the dealer?
I got anywhere from $100 - $200 depending on how long I was down.
They also paid for my hotel stay
@@TwoWheelTrucker1 per day?
@@ronniemagee1365 per time broke down. I think they pay $100-$125ish per day but don't quote me on that
@@TwoWheelTrucker1 oh I won't. Appreciate the info
Are you in 1649? If so that's my old truck. Not sure who had it after me but it was clean when I dropped it in Cartersville. It was reliable for me.
