Never witnessed so much energy live, or such an aggressiv playing, had to tune their gear after every song. During the Set they wildly gesticulated towards the crowd an looked like they are about to start scalping people. Fucking awesome.

We had discussions about how to portray these creatures, and I suggested listening to metal music; something none of my actresses had ever tried. I gave them Gojira as a homework assignment, but we had real headway with Forever by Code Orange. We sat far apart in a dark room on the floor, my speaker in the middle with all the lights off, and had them ponder the the play and their purpose in it while the song played. Afterwords, we had a discussion. They had a lot of compelling ideas. This music is REAL. It touches a part of our brains that most of us want to ignore. But what I saw with the actresses is that when we’re able to acknowledge the aggressive nature of man and create something beautiful. Code Orange, live forever.

Can confirm some of the below comments. I saw them the other night with Gojira. Although they're not necessarily my cup of tea, they opened up the pit harder than any first-billed act at a metal show I've seen in a long time. Shit was VIOLENT.

I love the fact that the main riff is somehow heavier than the breakdown. Not a huge fan of these guys but they’re written some genuinely heavy shit on their latest disk

the first time i saw this video/heard this band i wasnt really paying attention and thought the bassist did all the vocals because he seemed to be the frontman. after watching it a few times i realized everyone was on vocals except the bassist.
The drummer's screaming sounds kinda cool,but for God's sake he used to sound like he had a load of bread in his mouth.
i saw code orange for the first time back in april on the killswitch / anthrax tour.. pissed me off nobody even knew what to do when they opened. incredible band. you cant fuck with code orange
