    Beautiful wingview, love the Irish landscape, you can clearly see why they call it “The green island”😍

      I’m Irish I never really heard it being called the green Island normally most refer to it by the name

      @@matthewdoyle8644 Haha, really? That’s how many people call it, I have actually heard it multiple times. And I guess that Nickname is pretty much on the point, considering all those beautiful shades of green when coming to Ireland. That beauty always blows my mind when visiting.

    I flew locally from Dublin to Kerry in February 2020, just before covid hit. It was dark by the time we were taxiing to the runway. See the queue of planes at the start of this video? Well I think it looks spectacular in the dark with all the lights and seeing the lights move progressively faster and rise into the sky as the planes ahead of yours in the queue take off. It was the one thing that kept me patient waiting to take off near the back of a queue of about 10 planes.
    Edit: LA really is a massive sprawl, isn't it? Also, it's nice to hear "slán agus beannacht" in LA of all places.

    I'm 38 and never been on a plane, its too much of a confined space for me as I suffer with anxiety and fear of heights thrown in there, they do not go good together, I can go on a train or bus cause I know I can get off them and have that sort of escape but can't get off a plane mid flight though 🙈 I would actually love to get on one maybe for a shorter trip but I'm so so anxious about it, I'm missing out on travelling to different countries because the fear is so overwhelming...

    • @superhands290
      @superhands290 Год назад +2

      It's a very hard thing to overcome fear. If you don't put yourself into situations you're uncomfortable with, you'll be saying the exact same thing when you're in a wheelchair and too old to do it. It's like getting out of bed when your tired and would rather stay in bed, you've just got to get up even though it feels like shit. You'll feel better after, don't wait any longer. Go book some plane tickets right now.

    Sadly today Aer Lingus has gone to absolute shit. I flew with them from Dublin to Chicago on an A330 and nothing worked. The Wifi didn't work, the PPTV's didn't work and my seat didn't recline. The food was disgusting and they didn't even serve tea or coffee at any point during the flight. On returning we had a newer A330 but the food was still was disgusing and they didn't serve tea or coffee on that flight either. It's sad to see a once great airline go to hell. I'll only fly them now if I have no other choice. I'll only give them a 3 out of 10.
