6 of Swords being knowledge makes total sense. Swords is the suit representing air, which is about the mental realm, the mind. (Also communication). That's why in the rider waite it depicts a boat moving into clearer waters. Because mentally and intellectually you're moving forward. Not a lot of people know this
I'm assuming the 8 of cups being called Despair in this deck matches the original meaning aswell, turning your back on your emotions because you can't cope, and giving up. That's why in the rider waite deck the figure is walking away from his emotions (cups). And why it's called indolence in thoth.
i have this deck.. i purchased it online.. I don't have the guidebook so i will going to read their meanings on rider waite guidebook the regular one..
It’s still a cool deck, granted it’s counterfeit but if your a Harry Potter fan and can’t get your hands on the original or can’t afford the original. It’s not a losing situation 🤷🏾♀️
Sadly I am almost positive this is a COUNTERFEIT deck. I bought an indie copy in fall of 2021 from the actual creator. I sent her the Amazon link last night and she confirmed that this is someone making COUNTERFEIT copies.
Can you link the original artist/creator, please? This deck is still on Amazon for $50 Australian dollars. Would prefer to give my money to the actual creator and not a knock-off. ❤
Thanks for letting me know, I never tried as I don’t usually use the guidebook, was there a QR code? The QR codes usually works for me on other decks that I’ve tried….
I sent a link of this deck on Amazon to the original deck creator....she replied that she did not give anyone permission to copy and sell her deck....?
@@AnneTi no, it is not her. She confirmed in her reply to me that she has not given anyone permission to print the deck. It also has different backs than her original deck.
These cards are counterfeit, you should probably stop driving people to that Amazon link. The original artist doesn't sell these anymore. It seems like you buy a lot of counterfeit decks.
I buy whatever is on Amazon, one can’t tell at the point of sale, “a lot” is relative, considering how many videos and decks are featured on the channel, I would say it’s probably 1%, maybe 2% of what I buy…. the seller can always report them and have Amazon remove the listing, I list the link for people to see where I purchased it from.
@@AnneTi You can tell at the point of sale if a deck is counterfeit or not because you can see who is selling it. If it is a mass market deck, and you aren't buying for GHVBRT Store then it is likely genuine, especially if it doesn't say 'download guidebook from this QR code' When it comes to indie decks, very rarely are they sold on Amazon, and are also sold from QERGYYY store, are on flimsy cardstock and have a QR code. Especially if the deck is OOP or hard to find. Most indie decks will never sell for $25 or lower.

Umbridge as The Justice and James Potter as Emperor? Really? 😭

No, unfortunately not.
Thanks for the review
