I got this deck a few weeks ago in the hope that it could become my new inner child deck. I've long wanted a deck that felt more connected to the child I was, rather than children in general, and it felt possible this might be the one, but I've been surprised by just how quickly and how deeply I've fallen in love with it. By the way, 'Anima' is Latin for the animating principle or soul, and I suspect that carries into Italian too. (Together with 'animus', it was used by Jung in his mapping of the archetypes of the unconscious, but I'm not sure that's relevant here.)

I'm actually really upset to hear that people think this could have been made by AI. These cards make sense, the designs and composition make sense - clearly, there is human thinking behind this images and they are infused with meaning.
If this were my art and people suspected it of being AI- made, I'd be so insulted and furious.
...I was so intrigued by this deck that I ordered it as soon as it became available, without having seen any walkthroughs. But I'm enjoying the walkthroughs now 😄! I'm very, very happy with it and its 'dream state'.
Thank for sharing your thoughts on AI. I completely agree. AI has no place replacing our art or our stories….

Finally a deck that feels cohesive, with just the right balance between the traditional symbolism and its own unique story! I just bought it off Amazon and it will be here tomorrow. I’m so excited because I feel like I may have just found my one deck to rule them all, after years of recurring disappointment 😅

Thank you. I love this deck, the swords in particular (usually my least favourite). I had no idea people had been speculating it was AI - I don't even know why looking at the artwork and the themes running through the cards.

Beautiful deck. Fascinating that the creator uses runes on the suit of Swords. Really incredible artwork and vibe. Card stock looks amazing too. I will be getting this deck to review for a local metaphysical shop in my area. Perfect for Lammas. Thank you for sharing this deck, Simon.

@@the_hermits_cave I was just thinking of the card stock as you mentioned it. I love decks with that textured feel / rub / brushed noise like the Wild Unknown Tarot & the Astrological Tarot . As an 8🪄 ♐️ it reminds me to slow down from turbo shuffling and enjoy the cards moving together. You can allow them to slip together. X

Totally agree with you about AI decks. In my opinion, there’s no place for them i when it comes to such powerfully profound tools such as divination. There’s a huge void of humanity & soul, and it’s disheartening that creators spend months, years, even decades creating decks, putting their heart & soul and yet others are crapping out AI decks once a week & charging ridiculously high prices. There’s a place for AI, just not with divination.

I love the artwork, the energy is positive.
My initial feelings are that i don't totally vibe with it. Imho, i don't think that it's necessary for the character to be in so many of the cards. In some cards i don't get some of the interpretations of a number of cards.

Lot of out of focus cards lately. Justice and hanged man were never fully in focus... :(
