Probably the best thing the crowd can do is quiet down whenever a stadium cat dashes out onto a field. They don't like noise or large crowds of people. Makes them nervous and disoriented. But it is quite the show to see a critter interrupt the game.
@@gomerhanger2285 A cat with a collar can still go anywhere as most all cats often do. But stadiums won't specifically purchase cats and just set them loose. Imagine the bad press and simple abusive act that would be in itself. Health codes also would also conflict with food vendors and fans that could be allergic. Look up "MetLife black cat among 300 feral felines living inside stadium". (I've worked for several hockey teams and have looked into this after the famous Pawvelski incident, and that cat was actually adopted by one of the players). Sorry, but you're wrong about them being purposely "brought in".
From The Denver Post "Another staffer relieved the first staffer of the clawing kitty, and the trio exited the playing field. That’s when the feral cat escaped the staffer’s clutch and disappeared into the dark night, said Cory Little, a Rockies spokesman. Both staffers who dealt with the cat were not injured. Several feral cats live around and near the ball park, Little said. There’s no telling when one may take in a game."
Someone needs to do a mock statcast for Coorsy the cat. I mean, come on! He/She covered several hundred feet in less than 30 seconds, for meowing out loud 😻🙀‼& in his/her defense, you'd need a moment or two also to catch your breath in the thin air of Coors 😛🤮‼
Maybe you can get a glaring of cat to buy tickets to your game. No wait cats don't have money, but I do and I won't be going to any games in 2021. Georgia strong!
they really shouldn't scruff older cats, theyre heavier than kittens, so it would only restrict their breathing. and it looks like the cat is already gasping for air in the first place.
From the cats posture, it looks like it was really stressed out about something. Hopefully it didn't have rabies because that wasn't normal cat behavior. The cat should be tested and possibly the girl who "rescued" it.
Cats get extremely nervous around large crowds of people, and folks cheering at it only makes it worse. I've seen that same sort of posture with other stadium cats that get caught the same way, from time to time. Chances are, things are just that simple. Just very tired, nervous, and confused, making it naturally defensive. Though, yeah, it's still a good idea to go get that lady checked, if not just for cat-scratch fever alone.
Aww poor thing. Also that woman (the first one on screen) needs to seriously learn how to hold a cat. Handling it like a friggin toddler would. *SMH* 🙄😤🤦
Poor thing, it looked so scared.
That poor old cat looked so scared. Your staff handled this so well!
I thought it was their policy not to film trespassers who go on to the field. They made an exception for this cat.
That poor cat was really stressed. They open their mouths and breath rapidly like that when they are very stressed. Poor cat. I hope it’s okay.
Cat's can't run far. They're sprinters.
Yeah he was probably a bit stressed but the panting would have been more because he was so puffed out after running that far at his top speed
Poor little baby
After 2020 depression and no fans in the stands, that was totally needed.
You’re in for a rude awakening at 0:11
Where was the cat man when you needed him? 😁
I like the cat girl that grabbed the cat alotta batter
I bet cat man may have had something to do with it and they may find out the cat came out of the bullpen.
i was there at that game yesterday, and the cat was the most exciting thing for rockies fans in the whole last 3rd of the game.
They need a multi-cat inning to spice games up! If one sits on your lap, you're not allowed to move base until they've decided to get up.
Cat-mania
7th inning cat stretch.
Lol seven inning cat stretch
Hello you!
I want Gonsolin's post-game commentary on this.
She caught that cat like a pro, I would have been running back and forth for half an hour
1:09 judging by the sounds from the tribunes, fans don't mind looking at the cat instead of playing

look in the background at 0:15 hahaha omg the cat is creeping along the back
She’s lucky the cat didn’t fillet her like a piece of salmon
Exactly! I’m guessing it was too tired, cause I was surely thinking it was going to shred her!!!
She was holding its scruff, they tend to do nothing once you grab them there
I REALLY want to know how bad that poor girl got it! Kitty didn't look happy for sure.
@@klayman2 you can see the second lady come to grab it. First woman has never touched a cat before
@@klayman2 Lies. If that cat wasn't winded it would have torn them to shreds. Scruff or not.
This isn’t even the weirdest thing that’s happened to Belli when he was in the outfield
this brought a smile on every one's face
Dodgers should implement a Rally Cat this year at Dodger Stadium. Like the Rally Monkey, but better.
Oh shit Tony Gonsolin is running Crazy
Another Belli fan running out into the field.
Where's Gonsolin? Lmao
I mean, we've never seen that cat and Tony in the same place at the same time...
Funny when that happened. That cat DID NOT like getting picked up!
Sports stadiums have feral cats to keep the rodents population down.
They don't have them, the cats just live there. The stadiums don't purposely put cats in there, it's against health code.
@@Defenseman61913 😂 are you sure? The Coors Field cat had a dang collar on it. Trust me they kinda are brought in the stadiums on purpose.

I know Disneyland does this. When ur on the trolley you can see the cats walking around through the brush. True Story
The only living creature who wont get tackled when running onto the field 😂😂😂
no 35 seconds of preamble? best dodgers nation video eveahhhh!
great base runner!
OH MY GOSH THERES A CAT! LOL
He was going for that Home run😚
That face says it all 😂

I like how the baseball players are to scared to catch the cat
They were probably instructed not to.
Ever try to hold a cat that didn't want to be held? Better to stick you hand in a Cuisinart.
Guarantee its the loudest crowd cheered all night
AWW l love it, he was the DODGERS lucky charm.🐱❤❤❤❤💙💙💙💙💙
The cat had a message for Tony!

Who brings a cat to a pro field?
a wild cat from the local area
Obviously the Rockies hired the cat because they have a pest problem at Coors Field !!! 😳😲😬 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 ⚾️⚾️⚾️

Go DOYERS🐱🐱🐈🐈🐈🐈
Had a meeting with Gonsolin and exited on the wrong exit.
Haha Cody is funnnny
The cat was too tired, otherwise it would have climbed the wall.
Lookin for its hat
To be fair, that cat coulda got to at least 2nd base in time.. just sayin'
Next rally squirrel?
That’s the way you pick up a cat by the back of the neck.
Where’s the beer? Cat can’t find beer anywhere. Nel
That should of been Caterday's Cat. Where are you at daddy?
thought the cat would scratch that lady’s face off
My sister was at this game 😂
Jinxy get off the field
Wonder what Uncle Vin would have said...

What kind of cat was that?
A Maine Coon. They get to be huge!!!
Maine Coon mix not a pedigree
They have differing temperaments and personalities
It’s Felix Fermin!! Anyone??
MLB Can we get some StatCast on the cats route please

There is something weird going on with all these cat videos at sports games all the cats seem to be like breathing hard
At least it wasnt a black cat
Lmao
Cat!
😆
Do a live
Thanks dodgers nation
