JBL Charge 2+ Battery Replacement

In this video I replace the battery in a JBL Charge 2+ Bluetooth speaker.
I edited this video to remove a few clips of where I took unneeded steps. The video shows what is needed to remove and replace the battery.
The battery to use is this one: amzn.to/3q7VLbw
The battery for the Charge 3 2015 version will work also.
The newer Charge 3 battery will work, if you swap out the connector end on the new battery with the one on the battery you're removing. Don't attempt this unless you are comfortable with a soldering iron.

Thanks so much for the video! In my speaker, tho it is the same model, the battery was embedded a bit differently. In order to unplug the old battery, I had to remove the front cover as well and the unscrew the right bass speaker (the one on the side, not the front). Then I could access the battery's plug easily.

When you install a replacement battery just like in the video the red and green wires on the connector are switched up. Do not splice them like op did here, you can remove the pins from the connector to the way you need.
