mine should be here tomarrow april 15th i didnt get the package though becouse i knew i was gonna want the full 2500 watts rms so i paired them with the skv2 2500.1D

Thinking of picking up this bass package. How's it sound?
Going in tomorrow. I haven't heard anything bad. Going to compare everything old and new, may have a friend coming by tomorow to help tune settings as well.
I have never personally heard any Skar Audio equipment so im excited to to hear it in person.

So I just bought this setup tonight do u think my cars stock battery and alternator could handle them or do I need to do uogrades
As long as you don't let them slam crazy hard for a long time it should be fine. I would look into getting a decent capacitor. Mine work fine in the Shitbox! But super long bass hits for more than 2 minutes the lights dim a bit. I recently upgraded to a AGM (absobed glass mat) battery as well.

I keep my bass nob at about half for daily driving. They slap man. Great daily setup for pretty cheap.
@@twistedboostmedia9683 Same question here, stock battery, stock alt (150amp i believe). It's a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, do you think I could run these stock? If I need something to help out, do you recommend any capacitor brand?
@@MichaelPlaysOnPC Don't get a capacitor they suck get an extra battery and that big of a alt will be fine for the 2k.
So can i play music with it when i hook everything up or do i have to buy a Bluetooth radio to even play my music?
Depends on qhat you want. Most radios have a usb port, bluetooth, and an Aux port. Depends on the radio itself. Most single din radios will have a usb and an aux port on the front face while most double din radios will have it wired from the back to wherever you route them, like the glovebox or in my case i took out my cigarette lighter completely and mounted a 2 port usb hub there.

The box is heavy as shit. I got the same package on black Friday. Will be changing my wiring kit to ofc instead of the cca kit that it came with.
Yeah i only used the power and ground wires. Already had rca and remote. Used 10awg for speaker wire.
if i got this would the 200 amp altanator im getting be fine?
You can look on the website for what they recommend. Mine works fine with my stock alternator. It will dim the lights if im just sitting though after a few minutes of playing hard bass.
My amp stop overheat already on the second day
Sorry to hear that. I have never had issues with mine. I've had it in 100° weather in Tennessee and Colorado and have never had an issue. Its not even really mounted, just sits inside the trim with the factory amp for the car. I would contact them with the issue and see what they can do.
I did have a few grounding issues at forst, i would double check everything just to be sure

Yes, I bought it as a "bass package". It came just how you see it, with all the necessary wiring amp, and subs already installed in the box ready to install and hook up.
The wiring kit is copper clad aluminum, it works fine for me, but unfortunately there is no option to upgrade to the oxygen free copper wiring kit as part of the package.

My G get rid of that Dog Shit CCA 1/O CableIn your Car. And get OFC 1/0 Gauge Stinger 6000 Kit Trust me you will get more out of the Skar system. Yeah, It's double the price. So what.
It will get upgraded once the and battery goes in. The car barely handles it now lol.
