Please don't spread misinformation. **edit** His mother is mixed with Russian (not sure of exact amount but whatever) while his father is an ethnic Korean, meanwhile his family is from Uzbekistan, making Yuri culturally both Russian, Korean, and Uzbek. He's mixed but he doesn't look the part because genetics be like that sometimes, he happened to look more like his father, he looks almost like a copy of him lol

I know he has at least 1/4 Russian ancestry if not 1/2, when I looked up his mom an image of a Russian lady came up (with young Yuri sitting together w her in the image) but another source states that’s his aunt or something? So possibly he is just 1/4 then not 1/2-slight correction.
@@mlnkaia yes when I watched old vids of him I mostly just saw Russian women around him she didn’t seem to be mixed. But I did see online that his mother was mixed. So Yuri would mostly likely be 1/4 Russian.

There is not anything proven in terms of where his parents are from just through pictures unless said from him only. It's not confirmed if the lady with him is his mother, his aunt or if it's a family friend. I've checked everywhere and there isn't enough info on how he came to grow up as a Russian-Korean and who his parents are and where they are from. No hate ofc not wanting to cause anything between you and me, but maybe with the other comments you made for others below could be updated to say that your point is not certain but it could be a possibility just in case someone is misinformed with info that we don't 100% know if its true or not. Sorry for the rant just wanting to get that out there. :)
