Say it louder, Monsta X is so underrated considering the amount of talent this group holds. I got into kpop 2 yrs ago and jumped around lots of different groups, it took me awhile to get into Monsta X but now they are my ult group. They self produce a lot of their own songs and their lyrics are more on the mature side esp their English albums but that’s what I love about them, they aren’t afraid to try new sounds yet it’s always got that MX flavour.

Oh gentlemen have you been missing out. But u are correct on one thing...MonstaX is extremely under rated. Which is why Mombebe's (fandom name, French for my baby) love the guys so much. Now yes there are currently 5 in the group. However there are 6 total(the oldest, and leader Shownu is currently servicing his military duty) and when they were first put together through a survival show there was actually 7 of them. To make a very long story very short. A crazy ass saesang (extremely crazy fans) with a lot of influence and money. When she gets bored she likes to try and ruin idols careers. And a couple of years back her target was MonstaX. Now I don't mean one member of group, I mean the group itself. When she did a video about one of the members, she was actually standing in front of a hit list of the members of MonstaX. She started with Shownu and when that story didn't go the way she planned she turned to another member by the name of Wonho. She came up with a cock and bull story about him being a bully (bullying in Korea is...well let's just say a lot of idols have been accused of bullying. Some true, some blatant lies.) But she didn't stop there on Wonho. She also said that he owed money to someone. And that he did drugs. Now instead of doing background on her, or an investigation on the whole thing, or even having Wonho take a drug test and wait for the result, the company, Starship just kicked him out of the group and canceled his contract. Now Wonho apologized and accepted his fate from the company, but he was detained by the police, and he asked for a drug test. He asked for many drug tests over a course of extended time. Every time he took these tests, always and I do mean everytime, they came back negative. And at the end of the year the cops cleared Wonho of the bullying, the money situation as well and most of all the drugs. Starship resigned him, but only as a solo artist under a sister company, nor can any of the members of MonstaX be seen with Wonho and vice versa. Keep in mind Wonho was their primary songwriter and producer. Jooheon and I.M. were songwriters and producers but now they are primary. You really need to check out more of MonstaX songs. They have a decent fan base, but consider they are promoting with 5 members with arguably one of, if not the best, rap lines in kpop. Not to mention Jooheon the main rappers doing the most as a singer as well. I.M with his silky deep voice and sexy vocals as well, both also extremely talented songwriters, composers and producers. One of the most stable and impressive vocalists in Kpop. Hyungwon being the visual of visuals, a DJ, actor, songwriter and producer and Minhyuk with his continuous brand reps and modeling contracts, and a incredible and recognizable voice.

They have a decent fan base, but consider they are promoting with 5 members with arguably one of, if not the best, rap lines in kpop. Not to mention Jooheon the main rappers doing the most as a singer as well. I.M with his silky deep voice and sexy vocals as well, both also extremely talented songwriters, composers and producers. One of the most stable and impressive vocalists in Kpop. Hyungwon being the visual of visuals, a DJ, actor, songwriter and producer and Minhyuk with his continuous brand reps and modeling contracts, and a incredible and recognizable voice.
Every single one of them carries their position and ooze talent.
