I do like the Polychromos But I also have the Prismacolor too.

Can you comment on a comparison of the goldfaber with prismacolor?
I have an "old" set of Prismacolor which will do for me for a long time, However, I may
want to add to it with another brand. Thanks for this comparison, Lolly!

Goldfaber is student grade and a different composition of ingredients. So it's hard to compare one to one. However if you want an equal type of artist pencil, you would need the Polychromos, not the Goldfaber. The blending on the Goldfaber isn't as great as an artist pencil. For blendability, I would say Goldfaber is lower quality, then Prismacolor, then Polychromos at the top of the blendability.
