Those pencils look very creamy and I was impressed with the blendability. I was not aware there was colored pencil paper. 😳 Guess my under the rock dwelling is showing again! 🥴🤣. Hi Lolly! I've been experimenting with different water color pencils and colored pencils brands. Haven't tried Derwent yet. Your Llama card is adorable. I'm in the US. Thanks for this video.
In the past 10 years, they have had notable breakage issues (they arrive with the core broken in several places, so that it falls out of the barrel, and they have had issues with the core not being centered anymore in the barrel, so it's impossible to get the pencil sharpened correctly. I had been struggling with these issues for quite awhile before realizing I wasn't alone.

Great to see a review on the pencils, I am looking to purchase my first set of good coloring pencils, so this review really helped. I do a lot of coloring in adult coloring book. I am from the USA (wisconsin) .

I definitely need more practice with quality pencils. Someone gave me some Tombow colored pencils, and I don’t like the way they lay down. I don’t know if it’s the pencils or if it’s me. I’m wondering if you’ve used them and how they compare.
I realized after doing this that I should have shown that. I might do a general Gamsol video, using many different brands of pencils. I know that the Holbein art company (and artists in general) are against the use of Gamsol for colored pencils, due to toxicity.
I don't own the other ones, so I can't say, but since they said that these are a step between student and professional, I would assume the professional blend better.

I am in the US, i agree with the need to find a replacement color pencil for Prisma, these seem to be a nice set.
and most crafters don't need 100 pencil colors, so this seems adquate

I really like the Derwent Inktense pencils that I use with my watercolors. So I’m sure I’ll like these chromaflow pencils.

Yes, it's helpful. The more slick a paper is, the worse the pencils will perform on it.
