I bought the LK hobo. It will NOT stand on its own. The lock is sooo heavy , IMO, and when I put my stuff in it it was heavier. The folding in on itself was a deal breaker. The only way it would stand was with a bunch of fussing with it. I want to set my bag down on the table and forget about it. And…. I’m petite. 5.4 108#. It looks really big on me!

I've just settled down with just the classics - in many iterations - Speedy, Noe GM and Neverfull GM. I'm golden. I love a good classic. Maybe the Alma at some point - not sure.

Oh the Alma is such a great bag! Admittedly, it could use more interior organization, but if you get an organizer it’s do-able. It’s one of those bags that will never go out of style. ❤️
I love the hobo from YSL and use all the time. Was initially interested in the LV but this lock on the side dragged down my interest. Honestly do not understand what a key lock is doing there (reminds me of the Lock Me bag)
Ohh I love the YSL hobo, too! A friend of mine also has that bag and it looks so chic! 😍 I can see what you mean about the lock on the Low Key hobo. It’s hard to tell in the photos I used, but it’s a pretty cool locking mechanism to adjust the strap length.
I have the taupe side trunk in the MM that you showed. It is a new color. I bought it in Paris this April. I love the price I was able to get it for a great price in Paris. I love it over the canvas monogram because it is quiet and so classy. The gold hardwear on the taupe color is softer than the gold on most LV bags.
This is such a beautiful bag! Can I ask if the side trunk MM in leather very heavy?I have the monogram version which is relatively lightweight but worry this leather version is noticeably heavier especially after adding things inside.
I love the look of it very very elegant BUT with this heat increasing, it makes me concerned how will these all-leather handbags going to look after a few exposures in normal temperatures. Some of my all leather handbags are starting to show some creases from a few minutes of being exposed in 80+degree temperatures.
@@maryjomichele I just recently purchased a ysl camera bag all smooth leather, the only time it experiences outside temperature is when i have to walk to and from the car and or when I go to the stores and walk from my car.. not as if i spend hours outside with it, and I am staring to see wrinkles on the sides.. even LV canvases will lose more of its structures way faster compared to than a few years ago with these extreme heat conditions.
On the U.S. website, it looks like the black and red Alma are both in stock. I haven’t been able to confirm details but I think there should be Almas in white epi and dark pink epi at the end of May.
I think mostly a matter of personal preference! Some people still really love a particular brand and like the brand’s style and quality of bags, but not always the logo. Thanks for watching ❤️
I’m interested in Alma backpack but it looks like there is only 1 handle coz I prefer 2 handles . I don’t know I guess I have to go see it in the store first n see how I feel about 1 handle only. 👍🏻
