Lucija G no, it’s just dan is on a hiatus after his coming out video, so we haven’t really seen him and phil together (or just him for that matter) in a really long time. it’s been so long since we’ve had proper joint content, but i think we’re all trying to give them space and let them work together again when they feel comfortable to. they dropped a huge bombshell on us with their coming out videos, and it’s almost reunited the crazy demon phannies that freak out and try to prove they are together, so i also think they’re letting that die out a bit before they do videos probably together again.

Same him and Phil were my emotional support during a very lonely and dark time in my childhood. I'm so happy Phil uploads so regularly, but I can't help but cry when I hear or see Dan presently.
They sort of filled a kind of a parental or support role as strange as it sounds during childhood, I had no friends and all the older men I'd met (apart from family) had used me for my body (from 8-12, don't worry! I'm very happy now, 16, and very very lesbian).
I didn't have anybody, but Dan and Phil were always there, even as I became more anxious, paranoid about people dying again, distrusting and began a horrible ED journey in search for control, they stayed.
I wish I could meet them so I could just thank the fuck out of them, I'm not sure how I'd be able to put into words how grateful I am. I don't know if I'd even be here today, if I didn't have a place I felt safe.
I really hope Dan is the happiest he's ever been, I honestly wish the world for both of them.

I think it's the sharing a seat that wasn't really intended for anyone over the age of 7 to share. It causes them to be precariously balance which makes them shake slightly which lends the video an air of immediacy and focus. Also the small room makes them "feel trapped" Adding to this the camera is also slightly closer to them than usual. They usually film in much larger spaces.
Basically they're shakily balancing in a claustrophobic industrial space while facing a slightly too near camera.
...The only thing missing is an angry person with a gun. But they're in America here so actually they're completely surrounded by angry people with guns. 🙃
