My Jewish father was hit by a car in 1933 playing stickball in the street. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Initially they were going to amputate his leg but there was a young visting surgeon who was teaching advanced techniques and he saved his limb and his life. Fast forward to 1972. My mother who converted to Judiasm to marry my father was having serious back surgery at Hopkins. He took me to the statue of Jesus and said Noah this is Yuschka and started to cry. Being an orthodox Jew I was confused. My father never admitted to me he was a believer. When he was 79 he was dying of cancer. He would turn the TV on and listen to the Catholic channel and hail Marys for hours. I came in once and he said Noah that is Miriam. Later in my life I too on my own came to believe this man Jesus is the Jewish messiah. God bless you all I'm proud to be part of the remnant.

I didn't know Mstislav Rostropovich was a fellow believer! I'm floored. I used to pray often for the classical music world and this reminds me of the need. Professional musicians may live lives that are artistically rich, but most of them are spiritually poor and don't see that they are dying of spiritual thirst. Wow! I can’t stop but be blessed in hearing testimonies of Jews coming to an understanding that Jesus is the Messiah of the Jews and we gentiles were crafted into the vine of Christ. I grew up loving Jews and praying for them to come to the saving knowledge of Yeshua because my father never miss in praying for them every single day when he was still alive. May father will tell us that the Jews are God’s chosen people and we must love them. I was still young when I read a book about the Holocaust and I was shocked and I cannot comprehend why there are people who hates Jews, it is totally different from how I and my siblings were raised. I cried trembling holding that book. Other people may hate the Jews but as for me and my family - we love them. From the Philippines, Shalom Yerusalem.

I didn't know Mstislav Rostropovich was a fellow believer! I'm floored. I used to pray often for the classical music world and this reminds me of the need. Professional musicians may live lives that are artistically rich, but most of them are spiritually poor and don't see that they are dying of spiritual thirst. Many, of course, are born Jewish, but worship the arts, politics and Jewish culture, instead of worshiping the God of Israel, the Father of our Lord Yeshua.
