I think your dad’s faith will grow by seeing messianic prophecies in the Jewish bible or Old Testament. Both are the same except the books are organised differently and the verses are numbered slightly differently. Isaiah for an example is located in a different section from the Jewish bible.

I love that Jesus is Jewish. I was born again as a young person and no one ever talked about Jesus and my Jewish roots. I love that God has opened my eyes over the years. Amen! Hearing these testimonies is such a blessing. 🕊️

I feel the same way. There's something very special about it, and I've watched every one of the video testimonies. I'm happy and excited every time a new one gets posted. Somehow I feel a connection to my own background. I grew up Catholic, but it was all religious stuff that did nothing for me. When I joined the Air Force in 1972, they gave us all Gideons pocket New Testaments with the plan of salvation in the cover. That did the job for me, that and Bible tracts which were everywhere back then. Tacts can be greatly used by God, yet I rarely see them today. @@Name-el9ps Muslims as well. The numbers of Muslims coming to faith in Christ through dreams and visions is phenomenal. Just do a "Muslim sees Jesus" search on RUclips and dozens of video should come up. A number of missionary organizations have reported this to be the case as well. Iran Alive Ministries has a satellite TV broadcast that goes into Iran as well and is reaching many people. I don't know why God appears to go directly to some, but we know His ways are perfect, and sometimes beyond our understanding. Maybe, it has something to do with people in places or communities where the truth is suppressed? I' don't know, but I've wondered about it myself. One day soon we'll know and it will all make perfect sense.

Wow, in my 30 years as a christian, this brother in Christ just brought insight as: the men that Jesus was surrounded by never converted to Christianity, they all found Messiah. This is the highlight of my entire month of August. God bless all.

Christ taught the same Salvation in the Tanakh as in the New Covenant.

Both covenants are the same. Keep whatever laws you feel, bit if it is devoid of Faith, then your obedience to law rather than Christ condemn as the Law condemns. Only Christ alone, by Faith alone Saves.

I interpret this to Mean Yeshua said in the temple , "I Am YHVH" - The reply of Jesus to this taunt is one of the most surprising and baffling kind on any hypothesis of our Lord's consciousness being limited as that of all other of the sons of men. He gives the solemn emphasis of the Αμὴν ἀμὴν once more - Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was born (came into being), I am. Abraham came into existence by birth (the Vulgate translates, Antequam fierat Abraham Ego sum): 'I am the Living God'. Numerous attempts have been made to explain this climacteric utterance on some humanistic theory. The contrast is very remarkable between γενέσθαι and εἰμι. Jesus Christ declared his own timeless existence to have been in his consciousness before Abraham came into being at all. The "I am" reminds us repeatedly, when used by Jesus, of the "I AM THAT I AM" of Exodus 3:14 or

and the "thou art" of Psalm 90. (89:2, LXX.); Psalms 102:28.
His human consciousness gave utterance to the awful depths of the eternal Ego. Now, some critics have limited it in its meaning to "I existed in the counsel of God." But there are three objections to this interpretation: one is
(1) that the present tense, εἰμί, and not the past, η΅ν, was used by our Lord; and
(2) on this interpretation Abraham must have also equally pre-existed in the counsel of God; and
(3) such a statement would throw no light on the previous discourse. The Racovian Confession of Faith, based on the view of Socinus, explains, "Before Abram becomes Abraham, i.e. the father of many nations, I am it, the Messiah, the Light of the world." Not until my Messianic claims are acknowledged, and the many nations become children of Abraham, does Abraham really become Abraham, does his name derive its full meaning. This would be rabbinical trifling (J.P. Smith, 'Script. Test. to Messiah,' vol. 2). Beyschlag thinks that our Lord realized in his Person not a conscious pre-existence before Abraham, or before all worlds, but an impersonal principle, the image of God, which could only "be" in the eternal mind of God. There is a sense in which every man may realize such pre-existence as this, not merely "the Son of God," nor the new man in Christ, but every man whatsoever; but such a statement is entirely out of harmony with the whole passage that precedes. If the Jews had understood it in this sense, they would not have taken up stores to stone him, but, after their wont, would have said, "So also were we." "Ideas do not see one another." The first ἐγὼ εἰμί (ver. 12) brought out their angry unbelief, but this excites their murderous assault. We have to observe that this remarkable expression does not stand alone. St. John had reasons for saying "that the Word was with God, and was God. and was made flesh" (John 1:1, 3, 14). If Jesus, in his Divine consciousness, had never elsewhere spoken of having had a being before his manifestation (John 6:46, 62; John 17:5), of having taken part with the Father from the beginning (John 5:17), of being "one with the Father" (John 10:30, 33), of being greater than the temple or the sabbath, as being the Object of the eternal love in coming down from heaven, in laying down his life that he might take it again (John 10:17, 18); and if the language of the apostles (Hebrews 1:1, 2; Colossians 1:17; Revelation 1:18) had not entirely prepared our mind for the data on which such conclusions rested, a generation before this Gospel was reduced to form, we might join the effort to resist such a claim as that of eternal pre-existence. But the whole tenor of the Gospel and the entire New Testament teaching are seen, more and more, to turn upon this fundamental position - that in Christ dwells all the fulness of the Godhead, that he had life in himself, and eternity, and that the manhood has not only been lifted to the highest place in human remembrance, but to the midst of the throne.

I been listening to testimonials for many years and there's nothing more satisfying than hearing a Jewish believer tell their story of how they came to faith in Jesus. There seems to be something extraordinary about their conversion experiences. Its really a joy to listen to.

When He returns He is coming back in judgement because the days of lessons or teachings are over. The churches, rabbis, Bibles, Dead Sea Scrolls etcetera remain & continue Yeshua & the Apostle's legacy. Dr. David Regan from Lamb & Lion Ministries no doubt named their ministry that because of what I just explained. Yeshua can be gentle like a lamb but He can also be scary & powerful like a lion. I started listening to this hard working and intelligent man since 2013 but along the line I lost him because I did not suscribe to his channel, I have found him today, after seven good years, he's still sound the same and never change. One thing that make me love Jonathan is that, he went to the Ethiopian Jews, treat them freely and gave them the gospel, isn't this a true mark of a call of God? But the “MOST BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL” : “HE” (YESHUA) did is : “DIED FOR OUR SINS” Giving “HIS” Life and Raised from the death !!! (none of these are “simple”)
And this is what GOD says on the JEW SCRIPTURE:
“The Spirit of the LORD GOD is upon me ; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent “Me” to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound (Isaiah 61:1)
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow of his roots: and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD (Isaiah 11:1)

I've never understood how some Christians could accuse the Jewish people of being the "Christ killers". Jesus, himself, said, "No man takes my life, I lay it down freely". No one on Earth had the power to kill Him, as no one on Earth could've stopped Him, from fulfilling His mission. All the legions of Rome couldn't have killed Him, nor could they have stopped Him. He is the Savior for ALL of mankind, Jews, and Gentiles, alike. Thank you, sir, for your testimony.

My closest Loved Ones are a Jewish/Catholic household, (Holiday practicing only. They don't attend synagogue or church). My life's desire is to bring them to Jesus and bring down the walls, barriers and strongholds the world may have on each of them. I pray for them every morning that they will feel God, See God and Want God and Love God. God The Father, Son and The Holy Spirt. I pray they will see this video, too. What must I do to have eternal life?♡
Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ(find out who He really is and what He did for you in order for you to recieve eternal life- then ask Him to save you from your sins and open your heart, ask Him to come in) and you shall be saved( saved from destruction and eternal death- away from the God who created you, who saved you to be with Him forever- eternal LIFE)
He's waiting for you to make the choice. His arms are wide open, waiting to recieve you!
Brethren i want to share this with ye, notice how the LORD speaks about himself in both the "singular" and in the "plural" in Exodus 33:20-23.
Now the Lord Jesus is the literal verbal Voice/Word of the Father, he's also the "Brightness" of the Father's "glory", and the express image of the Father. So to look at the Lord Jesus, the 2nd Person of Godhead, is as though you're looking at the Father, who's the 1st person of the Godhead. This is why the Lord Jesus said that if you saw him, you seen the Father, for he is the express image of God the Father. He and the Father are One, they are One in the same God, not persons, but One in the same God.
Exodus 33:20-23 (KJV)
20And "he"-[the Father] said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21And the "LORD"-[the Father] said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22And it shall come to pass, while my "GLORY"-[Jesus] passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
No man can look upon the face of the Father, the 1st Person of the Godhead and live, hence why every time the Lord God Jehovah appears before men in the Old Testament. It is the second Person of the Godhead, the Word of the Father that appears before fallen men.
John 1:18 No man hath seen "God"-(the Father) at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath DECLARED him.
Declare: to announce, proclaim, promulgate mean to make known publicly. Declare implies explicitness and usually formality in making known....... [sounds familiar my friends ??? "and the "Angel" or "Word" of the Lord came down and said, thus said the "LORD"-(the Father)."]

1"God"-[the Father], who at "sundry"-[various] times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3Who being the BRIGHTNESS of "his"-[the Father] GLORY, and the "EXPRESS IMAGE" of "his"-[the Father] person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Though it was the Father that was speaking to Moses in "Exo 33:20-23", the One that appeared to Moses in "verse 22" was the Word of God, the second Person of the Godhead, the pre-incarnate Lord Jesus Christ who is the Brightness of the Father's glory.
John 5:39 Search the "scriptures"-[Old Testament]; for in them "ye"-[the Jews] think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of "me"-[Jesus].

@@joed8605 - with all respect brother, you need to accept what the scriptures clearly states about the Lord Jesus. He is indeed God, he's not just the Son of God the Father, but he's also God himself, the 2nd Person/manifestation of the Trinity/Godhead.

Not only do Jewish people not read the scriptures, neither do Gentiles. Otherwise, Christians would never have persecuted Jewish people or blamed them for killing our Messiah. The scriptures tell us that Jesus "willingly went to the cross for the joy set before him." That joy was to save all people--to pay our sin debt. What a wonderful testimony! Bless the Lord 🙏

Thank you for sharing this amazing story! I am Roman Catholic, and it never in my life occurred to me to feel anything other than love towards the Jewish people. I was always taught that the Jewish people were the "Chosen people of God," and if anything, when I was younger, I was a bit jealous that I wasn't also chosen.
