On the PoE 2 original announcement, back in the 1st exilecon, the only form they've shown was the Werewolf, and then talked about about some were cat form as a work in progress for an ascendancy. this is some 6 years ago now but I have no reason to assume this was removed. Also, GGG is known for adding skills with new leagues, so the number of forms available are likely to be expanded over time.
Knowing GGG. I bet you can expect more shapeshifting forms than diablo has. It is kinda what GGG does. They look at Diablo, and then does it better. Really just as a result of market conditions and because they were diablo fans themselves.
They've shown Bear and Wolf (only sneak peaks) but there are gonna be more but they were not shown yet. It's PoE after all, there is so much content, you won't ever get bored making off meta builds.
The rampage/stampede ability is cool that it counts as a channel. You could put sorc skill spark in there and get it to throw out lightning everywhere as you're rampaging around. The sorc also has a skill called "lightning conduit" that can consume the shock status effect tondo more damage. That seems like it would be really good paired with the lightning storm. Those two combos might make a pretty cool lightning druid.
i like the skill + skill interactions. that's a werebear who didn't skip leg day! I had a wolf / shepard in the past. got a husky now, he's either trained or i'm trained, or both.

and it's very good, if blizzard can't do better game than diablo 2 , maybe som1 else can do it ;) imagine better 3d garapics in diablo 2 , they don't need make new game, just new grapics engine and all will love them for that ;) but u know......
In ExileCon 2019, they showed a little bit of the Beastmaster ascendency for the Ranger with the Werecat form and the possibility to have a Wild Cat compagnion who can be transformed into a lion, a cheetah or a panther.
I think the upcoming GGG Live would be for one of the 4 remaining classes we've not seen yet. The 4 remaining are Templar, Shadow, Duelist, and Marauder.

I heard some developers left blizzard during the making of Diablo 3 out of protest for leaving D2 so far behind and formed Grinding Gear Games. Not sure if it’s true but makes sense! PoE2 looks awesome
I think it's time to start some gameplay in POE, to get used to the game mechanics, so it will be a little easier for POE2 (it's also my case, being a D2lod/D2r player, I'll start learning the game mechanics from POE until POE2 comes on and it's a long time until POE 2 appears, but how much I have to study in POE to understand the game mechanics, I don't think We have a lot of time. ZIZARAN has some video that explains very well what happens in POE
I modded my D2R game and ended up bricking it, when I get around to reinstalling it Im definitely going Path of Diablo or Project Diablo, something, anything, to completely reinvent this game. Off-Mata into "I dont even know what meta means anymore, Im just trying to not die."
Good people, Blizzard is a GANG OF THIEVES. Surely they will release at least 3.4 DLC with Mephisto, Baal, Diablo and maybe Malthael so this complete game as it should have been from the beginning will reach over 250 euro total cost unlike what GGG POE could do with so many updates in all these years being free with 30-40 euro you can have everything to play END GAME, I'm sorry how Blizzard does it being a lover of D2lod, D2r but I think the time will come for POE 2 which is GOOD!!
I have no desire to play POE1 or D4. 100% will be playing POE2. The design of the game looks more like simething a D2 player would enjoy in my opinion.

You can see here 19:59 (top right) there is 10 extra passives for each weapon set. I Weapon Set, II Weapon Set and Shapeshift.

In Poe you have plenty of animals - Bear/Wolf/Gorilla/Lion/Centaur/Crabs/Boars/Snake/Scorpions, so it can be any of them

Dude is referring to diablo 4 not diablo 2. Druid in D4 also has lightning attacks
