Cover not from "Magical Mystery Tour" I'd say Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. 1967 ©🌞🚶‍♂🚶‍♂🚶‍♂🚶‍♂❤..
I grew up in the 1960's in The Good Old USA. My parents got me Sgt. Peppers for my 12th Birthday.
I grew up on "American Releases" I found out later they were different from the releases overseas. "The Oden" Revolver" had more songs.
the same with _"Rubber Soul" We had ,"The Beatles 2nd Album; "Beatles 65", "Something New", Beatles VI", "Yesterday and...Today", "Help and "a Hard Day's Night_ were different. But looking back, I'm just happy to have experienced Beatle Music, regardless of less or more songs. I was fortunate to have experienced The Beatles from "The Ed Sullivan Show."
right up to now... I'd like to see the "New" & improved" *LET IT BE* " documentary from Michael Lindsay Hogg. "Peter Jacksons" *GET BACK* was awesome!!!!!!☮

The best Butcher peeler I knew of was Gary Hein who sadly passed a couple of years ago and was the best at it and started in 1977 and a great guy. He peeled a Stereo for me around 2001 and it's perfect. I purchased a Stereo 1st state at a collectable comics and record shop in Pittsburgh in 1988 and that was book price. They would usually come down a little but not on that one and I was a regular customer.
The only thing that stopped it from being mint was the plastic wrap seal was broke. Back in the day LP's were in more of a loose plastic bag is how I would unlike the tighter shrink wrap a few years later.
What makes mine even more scarce is that my wrap has a Sears price sticker on it.
Sears pulled their Butchers after one day and my understanding is that finding those is like finding hens teeth.
I remember my friends thought it was cool but 2 grand was a lot of money and when I showed my father he thought I had lost my mind.
He passed in 2012 and used to live ribbing him about my purchase because he knew what a great purchase I had made.
That day I also purchased a mint "Something New" jukebox EP in the miniature 45 size card stock LP cover with all the jukebox inserts intact untouched sheets.
They were asking 325.00 but got it for 300.00 great buy looking back now.
Another great find was a Mono "The Beatles And Frank Ifield on Stage" Portrait Cover on Vee Jay. I found this in a small used record shop in an old railroad shed right next to the old Pennsylvania RR mainline tracks.
Really great condition and I paid between 300 and 325 for it in the mid eighties. The dude was like a young hippie and he had a lot of great records and no one ever came in. I always stopped in and we would just go in the backroom which had a curtain for a door, smoke a reefer and throw darts for a couple of hours.
Ah, the "Good Old Days"! I started collecting Beatles records in 1972 at age 15 when hardly anyone even thought of doing that. Back then it was easy to locate records. I have a vivid memory in 1965 of being in the back of my parents car and every 2 weeks when my dad got paid we would go to a big shopping plaza that had both a Sears and a JC Penny's which was a big deal and two five and ten's as a kid. My dad always had KDKA Pittsburgh on the radio and this DJ was plugging the newest Beatles single " We Can Work It Out" and he said that he bought two copies of every Beatles single and Lp's. One to play and one to put away for the future. He said that this band was so big that he felt one day their records would be collectable and worth money and said you should consider doing the same. That never left me and 7 years later at 15 I started collecting. If you saw my Beatles record collection, your head would spin. Funny how things work out sometimes, I always wished I could have thanked him. Check this out, turns out that in the late eighties I would visit a record shop outside of Pittsburgh called Record Rama which was the largest private record collection in the world. I'm talking to the owner one day and telling him my DJ story and he tells me the guy the guys name was Bob Baker and he had passed a couple years earlier and he knew the guy.
When he passed, his wife sold him his collection. I managed to pry a Capitol green label
"Strawberry Fields Forever"/"Penny Lane" "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" with picture sleeve and "Hello Goodbye"/"I Am The Walrus" same deal and with PS. Really cool thing was Bob Baker would always sign his name on the label and the date.
Mine both have Bob Baker "67". I assume after the station didn't have use for them anymore he would bring them home rather than pitch them.
It's so cool that I have to DJ copies signed by the guy who planted the seed in an 8 year olds mind that started my Beatles collecting journey.
Coolest of all was this dealer was good friends with his wife and he called her and said I have a young man here you will want to hear from and he put me on and I told her my story and she got very emotional, like choked up tears and I was very emotional.
Thank you Mr. Bob Baker wherever you may be. I forgot to mention that shop in Pittsburgh where I got my Stereo Butcher is still there 52 years and going strong. Sadly, the owner passed in 2021 from covid.
I knew him for 45 years and he was a great guy. He left the business to his long time appraiser who was there since day one so it's in great hands. A few I forgot to mention from there. About 10 years ago I scored a NM copy of " Introducing The Beatles" with all the Vee Jay Lp pictures on the back and also same Lp with the blank back.
I also got The Beatles Christmas LP in shrink wrap like yours from them at least 30 years ago and paid I believe 100.00 for it.
Sorry if I ranted here but your Butcher got me stirred up. I could see that you're passionate about this stuff. I start out with Gary Hein and that got me on a roll.
I don't get to share this stuff often and hopefully you appreciate my passion for Beatles records too. One more thing here.
That shop in Pittsburgh, about 5 years ago he bought a collection of about 45,000 Doo Woop records. The owner died and his family sold it to him.
We always laugh, he's like, I don't know why I bought that, not a lot of people aren't looking for that now. I'll be dead and a lot of that stuff will be here. He did score a lot of great clean Elvis though. 45's and a lot of EP's in the card stock picture sleeves.
The one thing I've been eyeing up in the showcase for the last 4 or 5 years is a "Buddy Holly And The Chirping Crickets" Ep in the card stock picture sleeve the same as the Lp and it's perfect and he has 500.00 on it. 15 or 20 years ago that would have flown out the door but not now.
I always say, you still have that Buddy Holly and he's like yeah, nobody wants it. I'm thinking about offering 350.00 and I'm hoping he says 400.00 and I'll say 375.00 and he says sold. We'll see, would I ever see a return down the road? Probably not, but it's just so Damn Cool! Now I'm done.
Happy collecting and I heard you say military haircut so if you served, Thank you for your service.
    Happy collecting
    Peace ❤
